Charley’s Grilled Subs

I love Charley’s! Anywhere I travel to there always seem to be one and always great service. I think as a recommendation they should have more than one register. It seems like there’s always a line.
Highly recommend the spicy Hawaiian chicken or the chicken California! That’s probably the best items on the menu.

Has anyone ever heard of Charley’s Grilled Subs before? Not me, but he sure is looking good!
Doing some last minute shopping and hating to shop, especially during the last week of the Christmas shopping season and loving to eat, Charley’s called out to me! Come, stop shopping, savor our wonderful grilled subs and sit down for awhile!
Okay Charley, it does smell good. Have you ever wanted to roam a restaurant or eatery and check out what everyone else was eating before making up your mind?

Everything looked so good that was passing by in front of my face and every menu item causes your glands to salivate! I knew the rolls were going to be good just by the fresh and crusty look of them. Now to choose what to put between my bun.
So this cow and chicken walk into a grill… They grill everything to order and it’s the real McCoy! I like how they use provolone as their choose of cheese on the cheesesteaks, although they offer real cheddar or Swiss as well, no whiz with Charley!
When I am in a new place like this I always step back and take my time trying to confuse myself with what sounds the best, leave me alone until I’m ready, this is serious stuff. Steak or grilled chicken subs served hot with grilled onions, peppers, bacon or mushrooms or deli style with lettuce, onion and tomato. They have turkey, pepperoni, ham and they are piled high so your jaw gets a work out.
They have veggie sandwiches, buffalo style chicken or teriyaki. Chicken BLT’s, chicken cordon blue, steak and bleu or barbecue. The salads looked awesome with grilled chicken, but I was already torn on the subs so the salad will have to wait for another time.
I decided on the Philly deluxe cheesesteak with provolone, green peppers, mushrooms, onions and I added Swiss after being torn between the chicken parmesan and the steak and bleu. The fries are a must and I had the cheddar and real crispy bacon on mine, very filling, delicious and a meal in themselves.
They serve soft drinks, iced teas and a variety of freshly made lemonades. I was not real thrilled with the kiwi lemonade and wished I had gone with raspberry or just stuck with plain lemonade, then again I am not a huge fan of kiwi so not sure why I thought it sounded good.
I love Charley’s, the bread is awesome and the sandwich was wonderful. They do not have to call my name anymore, because I will be calling theirs every time I step foot in the mall, I was very impressed! Hey I now have an agenda to try them all. Hey Charley, I’m here!
