1768 Hubbell Homestead

This is the first Unilocal review I’ve ever written, but I felt that the world needed to know how absolutely *amazing* Hubbell Homestead is as a wedding venue, and how incredible the people who run the venue are.
We were married at Hubbell in July 2015. From the get-​go, Jessica and Vicki were incredibly detail-​oriented and responsive to all of our questions. Over the months of planning, we received helpful check-​in emails. They were happy to meet us to do walk-​through visits. On the week of the wedding they were present and willing to work with us on all kinds of last minute requests. Vicki’s husband helped us hang lights and set up the wedding area (which is truly above and beyond what they needed to do).
The facilities are amazing and the pictures you can see online do not lie… it is a totally idyllic venue and perfect for a laid-​back but elegant wedding. Having looked at some more «rustic» venues, I can say that the Hubbell difference is that everything is really well put together and the grounds are impeccably maintained. My family also stayed in the Maple House in the week before the wedding and it was a perfect space for our needs.
If you are getting married in the Bennington area, look no further!

I had a small event at the 1768 Hubbell Homestead, and even though it was only a 3 hour affaire, I was treated as though I had booked a weekend wedding! Vicki’s attention to detail was superb, and the surroundings were just stunning, from the views to the wonderful interior decorations with local artifacts and beautiful antiques. It made for an extremely comfortable event for myself and my guests.
In fact if I ever do get married, you can bet we’ll be headed there! (um, yeah, that IS a hint to a certain someone…:)
