We stopped on our way home from the beach. We arrived just before closing, but the staff was happy to accommodate us. The food was delicious, home cooking. The desserts were incredible. This place is very clean and well lit. An almost hidden gem as it’s just a block and a half out of my normal route and I wasn’t aware of this place until reading another helpful review on Unilocal

Come here if you’ve always wanted to enjoy good food in a dinner close to movie standards. Walking in I felt like I was about to have a long talk with someone about to reveal a plot twist. Aside from the décor, I had a BLT that was better than any other restaurant around had to offer.

On our way back from Charlotte NC To Pawleys Island SC we decided we did not want fast food. Found this place on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. We sat at the counter and had a nice chat with some people from the area which added to the enjoyable time. We had chicken salad on croissant with fries and cup of soup with ½ pimento cheese sandwich. Everything was fresh and tasty. Their homemade cakes were sitting on the counter and I dare you to try and leave without tasting one or taking it to go(which is what we did). The place was quite busy even at 1PM and all the dishes being served look really good and the people eating were obviously enjoying it. It will be our stop on future trips for sure!

On the way to Charleston and used Unilocal reviews to find this place. Great service, great people, excellent small town café«feel» and very good food. The entire car was very happy we stopped here. You should do the same.

Magnolia was great– super-clean, friendly and lovely. We had the chicken n dumpling special of the day that came with 2 sides for $ 6.95. Both the corn pie and turnip greens we chose were excellent. The homemade cakes displayed in cake savers on the diner style counter looked too good to resist. We tried the red velvet, which was good, but we probably should’ve taken our server’s advice and tried the pineapple. For great southern ambiance and hospitality, as well as good home cooking, you won’t find a better place than Magnolia on Main.

Very nice place for lunch in a sea of fast food chains on the way to Myrtle Beach. We had our Yorkie with us and sat outside in a nice seating area. Staff was super friendly and attentive. The had a wide variety of diner staples(burgers, sandwiches) as well as Classic American specials.

I know I don’t have to tell the native Bennettsville folks about this place, so this review is for those of you on your Unilocal app. If you’re passing through the area — stop here! I had their daily special, which was pork chops. I am not usually a huge fan of pork, but they really looked great — and they tasted as good as they looked. The sides were also excellent — beans and brocoli rice. This place is home cooking at its very best — and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. Stop in!

Mom and Pop restaurant, breakfast and lunch only, very nice server, drinks were always full, food came out quick, and place was clean. Got an everything omelet with hashbrowns, Solid meal. Down Main Street hard to find a place to park the truck and trailer.

We drive from Greensboro to Myrtle Beach quite often. This cute restaurant is about a half mile off the route and so much better than the MCD, KFC, Subway options down the road. Good meats and veggies, salads and homemade soups.

Some locals told me this was«the» place to go for breakfast. Good call! I went on a Saturday morning. For breakfast I had scrambled eggs, country ham, hash browns, grits, and biscuit. Food was ready quickly. Country ham was good — not over salty as I have experienced in some places. Grits were OK, not as thick and almost tasted like instant grits. Décor was very nice. Magnolia tablecloths, real plates and utensils instead of plastic. Good steady stream of locals. As one lady was leaving, she stopped and spoke to me. «You must be a stranger in town» she said. «Glad to have you here, I’m the Mayor!»
