Happy Burrito Mexican Restaurant

Great food and amazing service. The tacos and tortas are my personal favorite! The lady’s there are incredibly nice and have great memory! I’ve noticed they remember my usual although I sometimes change it. The food is always done quickly and never cold. Definitely one of my favorite places to go! They even have $ 2 breakfast burritos for on the go!

This is by far my favorite place to stop and eat every time I’m in Colorado. You can’t beat their burritos for $ 2, which is the only item on the menu that I’ve stuck to. It’s a very small and genuine local business that I will continue to support whenever I am in the area. I highly recommend stopping by and picking up a burrito to go.

When traveling, always find a good local restaurant. My folks live here in Bennet and they found a good one. I’m sure family members work there but this was some of the beat service I’ve had in a long time. Very friendly and inviting. The food was a decent portion and stands up to the same excellent level of service. I had the happy burrito special and the carne asada, which was the best I have ever had and I also live in California. Price was more than reasonable. This was a great value.

Before I say anymore, let me just say, that I love Mexican food, live in CA where it is everywhere, go to Mexico every year and have taken cooking classes in Mexico. I say this before I say that this was one of the best Mexican meals my husband and I have ever had. I wish this place was in our neighborhood. My husband had a shredded beef burrito with green sauce and cheese, side of beans. I had the chiliquillas with the mild red sauce and spicy chorizo topped with 2 fried eggs, rice and beans on the side. The shredded beef was melt in your mouth with wonderful flavors. The chiliquillas were excellent. It is VERY difficult to get these right with the chips still crisp in all the sauce. I ate the entire order, which is not typical for me since I am not a huge person AND then ate an order of sopapillos with honey. OMG!!! I thought I had died and went to food heaven. If you are anywhere near this place, you will get a meal of a lifetime!

A small humble restaurant where the food is ethnic and excellent. I just wish they served margaritas.

An excellent breakfast burrito!
I came across this place when I was passing by Bennett. It’s well worth the stop. The breakfast burritos come out if less than a minute even if you ask for something special. They have a few on hand in a heated box so you can stop in and be back on the road really quickly. The burritos are small but they only cost $ 2.
For a small town this was a pleasant surprise.

This place was a surprise. It’s a small building and not very fancy but it’s clean and the food is great! I had the tongue tacos, they were tasty! Prices are pretty reasonable too.

Our car broke down on I-​70 and we had a few hours to kill in Bennett. The locals recommended the Happy Burrito. We had a wonderful lunch of soft tacos. Ingredients were fresh and the tacos were tasty. The fried ice cream was also yummy.
