What’s Cookin’

Chef Eileen and Teresa visited us at the cottage on Franciscan Winery Estates in St. Helena this past Saturday. Everything tasted absolutely amazing and it ended up being such a great experience! They arrived early, had the appetizers prepared (pork filled pot stickers), and put together an amazing feast, which included a caesar salad, parmesan chicken, ricotta stuffed pork chops, roasted red potatoes and veggies, and a chocolate lava cake TO DIE FOR. She went above and beyond to make our night special, and it was the perfect ending to a long day of wine tasting in the beautiful Napa valley. I could not recommend a better chef that will make your experience one you and your guests will never forget!

I cannot praise Chef Eileen enough, she is absolutely fantastic! We hired her for a surprise Bachelorette party in Napa this past August. She arrived early, prior to the ladies who were all out getting massages. Chef Eileen was extremely friendly, easy to work with and professional. And the best part, her dishes were AMAZING! She went above and beyond all expectations making the evening truly special for the bride-​to-​be (my sister). Very happy we found her and more so that her delicious food set the mood for an incredible evening. She offered a wide variety of dishes to choose from prior to the big day. We selected lamb as the main course, not knowing that at least 1 attendee has an allergy. Chef Eileen was able to substitute her dish altogether and with ease. It was a night to remember! I will definitely work with her again!

We used What’s Cookin for our non-profit’s holiday fundraiser– and they were great! The food was delicious and plentiful, and it was a pleasure working with Eileen. I highly recommend her!

Eileen and her team were fantastic in catering our whiskey holiday party. They showed up on time even though the storm of the decade was hitting san francisco.
we did an hour of passed apps, all of which were delicious and filling before drinking a lot!
The cheese and charcuterie platters were fantastic, great selection.
And the big finale, the bourbon bread pudding, was the perfect finish to a night of drinking whiskey.
Eileen was super easy to work with, and was great communicating menus and working through changes as the event came near.
As a former chef myself, I would 100% recommend Eileen for your party needs!

This summer we hired Eileen and her staff with What’s Cookin to cater a backyard luau party. From beginning to end, she was very easy to work with. The bottom line is that her food was AMAZING! What a talent! Our party guests raved about the dishes she prepared. Since the party was themed, we worked together to come up with the perfect selections for a luau. Her staff that worked the party with her were super friendly and smiley, professional, and instinctively knew how to «be there» for our guests needs. As the hosts of the party, my husband and I were able to focus entirely on our guests, which is exactly what we were looking for. We were all very impressed with everything, and are certain we found our new favorite caterer! Thanks Eileen and your staff for a job well done!

Chef Eileen cooked for a dinner party that I had at my house for a party of 10. Eileen and her assistant were professional and fun. The stuffed mushrooms were out of this world! Our dinner was served timely, and the dessert was fabulous. The kitchen was left immaculate. If you have a special occasion, and would like to have a hassle free night, I would recommend Chef Eileen. Let her guide you through a memorable night! Thank you again Chef Eileen.

I cannot believe this lady is in business. How can you call 30 minutes after you are expected to be somewhere to say you are just now on your way but will be stopping at the store still, and then end up being nearly TWO HOURS late… especially to something as important as bridal shower! It was EXTREMELY unprofessional to show up late, the food was mediocre at best, and she was NOT a peach to deal with once she finally arrived.
Although I did not let this ruin my time, I felt very bad for the my mother (of the bride) who put so much effort, thought and planning into this bridal shower for me to enjoy. I am very unhappy with her service and I am astounded that she still charged my mom full price… you show up 2 hours late and actually ask to be paid in full! She won’t be in business for long if she does this to all of her clients. RIP OFF! I would have given her zero stars if Unilocal had allowed.
