Why does this location suck so bad?!? Is it the old, stale food that looks like it hasn’t been refreshed since lunch time? No — it has to be the poor customer service! Don’t get mad at the customer when you can’t get the order right. Also don’t throw the food around when the customers catch your mistakes and ask that you correct them. Lastly don’t talk trash as those same customer request to speak to your boss. Tip: Do not stop. Do not enter. Spend your $$$$ somewhere else.

This rating is totally based on the customer service that my husband and I were given today by Thang & Ivy and the cook(don’t know his name). Thang had a great attitude and greeted every customer as they walked in, there was a little line but he took care of everyone very quick and efficiently. Ivy checked us out and was very friendly as well. 5 stars for great customer service.

You come here if you want a bunch of veggies. Everything that’s has them are full of them nothing else. I’d rather travel and get better food than go here !

ZEROSTARS! Stay away from this place at all costs! Don’t know why I did it to myself again last night and decided to place an online order with this place. Should of just driven the extra 5min to the other location in vallejo. How is it that I place an online order, the order is clearly printed for them to read, and it states it’ll be ready at 5:45pm. Yet I still show up at 6:05pm and they aren’t even close to having my order ready!!! Are you kidding me? The girls obviously don’t get along with the cooks, and they looks the cooks give the customers is unreal and so rude. Quit you’re job if you hate customers that much. Worst part about last night is another 3 people were having similar problems and one of them said they knew the owner and wondered if they knew what was going on, well call that idiot and tell them what’s up! The part that peeves me the most is when I went thru my food and noticed three items were missing the girl didn’t skip a beat and said«oh yes let me get that» like did she already know she missed food, or just didn’t care and would give out free food if I was lying. Very curious. Either way this place is crap. If I place on online order and come in over 30min later to pick it up there should be no reason you don’t have my order ready and need to make more food. You should have set aside my food when the order came in. Not make me wait in the front on the line of angry customers. Really wish there was more I could do besides write a Unilocal review that the establishment will never see or care about.

Food was fine but only two stars because… Seriously, they ran out of soy sauce. Not kidding. This was on 10÷22÷15 Thursday evening, dinner time. You sell Chinese food, you should have a never ending supply of soy sauce. Your number one condiment at a Chinese food outlet! They should be embarrassed.

Panda! Just like any other one. Ordered the orange chicken and the string bean chicken. Customer service was good, line moved fairly quick. Kung pao!!!

Dinner time service was horrible!!! They were running out of food and line is not even that long. Servers seem to be untrained, they don’t know who ordered what. I had simple request to put the Beijing beef on the side since I have little kids, but of course they mixed it with the plate. And they refused to make me another plate because one of the items I need is not available yet. One of the girls told me that I should give my kids milk, chocolate would be better to wash off the spice she said! Appalling… The boy at the counter even rolled his eyes when he heard I was not happy, and I want a new plate. I know it’s fast food, and I should not expect too much, but food came too slow and no customer service at all… Those kids need some training, how not to be rude!

The workers at this panda are incredibly kind and do what it takes to keep the customers happy. I always love my meal as the chef is an amazing man.

On a very slow day we were surprised most trays were almost empty… had to wait for one dish for more than minutes… i can understand when it’s busy but we were the 3rd family in there… service was very slow… the only plus here is location n cleanliness… the Vallejo n AC location meet its standard as an express place to eat…

Great Panda Express off of 780. A convenience for those passing thru who want to grab a quick bite. They pack their combo to go boxes unlike other locations. Also, gotten a complementary drink since there were no steam vegetables available. They really know how to bribe their customers to keep a continuous relationship. They got it down right here.

Mediocre fast food Chinese style. My kids love this place, but it is just typical fast food style quality. Good for you were on a trip and eat a quick bite.

Pretty bummed this place is as terrible as it is. Last night we ordered online, thinking everything would be ready for pick up as we were really busy and needed something quickly. They forgot part of our order and it wasn’t even worth going back out in the rain to argue it. The service is terrible, and the food is always waiting to be made. They can’t keep up with demand.

By far the worst Panda express I’ve ever been to. How can this company come to our beautiful little city and offer such horrible service? I completely give up on this sham of an establishment. HORRIBLE

Weak food, poor value. I had eaten at this location when it first opened, and wrote off the poor food and service as problems associated with the opening of a new restaurant. Sadly, the passage of time has actually made things worse… my recent meal featured a bowl of rice, a small amount of vegetables and a token spoon full of chicken. I feel ripped off — and hungry.

Since Panda opened in Benicia last year, we have patronized this Panda at least a dozen times. We come late evening hours(between 700p to 830p), so this review reflects this time period only. We always get our food to go since they have a very small & uninviting dining room. I mean, who wants to shovel rice and orange chicken down their gullet while someone’s buttocks are in your face while they stand in line?! No thanks. Parking is quite challenging at this end of the shopping center, so have a little patience. The service here is very slow and like their food, cold. You can thank Benicia’s teen &20 something’s for the poor customer service skills(«what, I have to scoop food into a container? Eww!»). The food is inconsistent and trays are always empty or near empty. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s disgusting. Where’s my Tum’s?! This last visit was by far the worst. The steamed rice was cold, dry, overcooked and/or old. It was like chewing on rocks. I’m not a fan of their fried rice, it’s bland, mushy, and tastes like Alpo. My veggie rolls were cold and chewy like leather. Sweet fire chicken was cold. I suspect steam table issues are to blame. Portion sizes are usually good, but were very skimpy this visit. However, the honey walnut shrimp was warm and tasted very good. The chow mein was borderline decent. Called & spoke with the manager Billy & advised him of our disappointment with quality of food. He was quick to apologize and offered to replace our meals next visit, which we appreciated. If you must support this Panda, my recommendation is to demand fresh cooked dishes, but prepare to wait and endure heavy sigh’s and/or lots of attitude. The Panda on Admiral Callaghan Lane(Target Shopping Center) in Vallejo is much better, very friendly, and the food is always fresh & piping hot. It will remain our«go to» when Panda cravings arise. In town, I still prefer Szechwan House on First Street. Their house fried rice rocks, sweet & sour pork is crispy & tender, the general tsou’s chicken(order it crispy) is to die for and Sam is very sweet & helpful. Most dishes are very good, big portion sizes, they have take out & we love the quick personal service much better.

This Panda is really fancy-seeming on the inside. I’ve been to it twice, So far, and I have been pretty satisfied with the service and food. I think one quality that may give them a boost would be to liven their staff up a bit. They seem young, so I know they could do it if they tried. Love how close it is to me(I live near Glen Cove) and the location it’s in with all the shops. I’d recommend this Panda Express if you had a craving.

Good food, reasonable pricing, fast & polite service, and they use eco-friendly take-out containers instead of styrofoam! *F*I*V*E* Stars! Yes, it’s a franchise, took me a while to get over it since I kind of prefer supporting family businesses, but most of the Chinese take-out in Benicia is spotty and/or you have to call well in advance unless you feel like sitting and waiting. Panda express has tasty food with fresh ingredients ready and waiting for you whenever the craving hits. Today we ordered a couple of 2-entrée plates with fried and white rice(they didn’t have brown rice ready) and for our entrees we had Black Pepper Chicken, Eggplant with Tofu, and Orange Chicken. The eggplant was fresh, firm and succulent, just as it should be. The Black Pepper Chicken packed a spicy punch and tasted pretty authentic. I didn’t get to try to Orange Chicken because it’s my son’s favorite and he gobbled it down before I could even get a photo of it. Several other restaurants have opened and failed in this location, including a Boston Market, but I have a feeling Panda Express will make it. Benicia needed a good, quick and reliable Chinese place and it’s finally got it. Sorry to say, but I think the family run Rickshaw Express in the same mall has its days numbered…
