Carola took my deposit for my wedding makeup almost 8 months in advance and when I decided to use someone who was wayyyyyyyyy cheaper and more talented, she refused to return my money.(200.00) I cancelled 6 months in advance with her and found her to be inflexible and dishonest. When the credit card machine was broken in the salon, I offered to write a check and she was overly concerned that the check was good. Made me feel uncomfortable… shoulda went with my gut…
BTW…changed her fee 2 times in the process of negotiating… found out I had 9 bridesmaids and hiked up the fee significantly
