Is there a way to leave less than 1 star? I’m writing from the Lab Corp in Vallejo because the reception was so rude that I left and drove here. She was rude to another lady waiting who looked at me and mouthed silently, «Can you believe her?» to me.

Based off the other reviews I’m not sure if I got lucky or things have changed for the better. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Quick and almost painless and without bruising. Not the most talkative group of people(2 people on duty) but friendly and efficient!

I think I have the answer to Ethan’s statement about why there is only one staff on board! The phlebotomist, who by the way has been there through all the different ownerships, is very creepy. When you walk in the lab, you can pretty much cut the air with a knife because of her attitude. She is attempting to be professional but in a very passive aggressive way. I know this because I challenged her about the lab’s processes which have resulted in some negative experiences. It started with her not using the sign in sheet to determine who was next in line. That is easy enough to do because we sign in sequentially and put down our time we entered the lab. Next she couldn’t get a vein, which by the way, was drawn on last week without any issue at another facility. The phlebotomist that successfully drew on my arm had a few more tricks like«making a fist and pumping the fist» which, in my experiences as a registered nurse, is pretty common. She had to stick me twice and later when I went to remove my bandaid, it was soaked with blood and I had a hematoma on the site. Next time I may drive to Vallejo because the whole experience in this place is so negative and creepy, I would rather avoid it. Take my word for it, I’m a psychiatric nurse. Maybe it’s all too much to deal with lacking caffeine.
