I came with the children to the farmers market at Stonestown Galleria, which is located in the parking lot behind the movie theater, across the street from the mall. We came last Sunday. It was not the first time the kids had asked for this popcorn. In general, popcorn is terrible on your digestive tract. The tiny yellow kernel skins are known by many Heath educated people to get stuck inside your small intestine and never come out. But it was a special day, and the children would not stop asking for this popcorn. It looked intriguing enough with the guy behind the counter popping loudly fresh popcorn. Children ran to him and I decided to let them have it. After all, who wants to deprive their kids, right? They were so excited about it that I completely forgot to look at the label. It’s a good thing for this owner, as I would not have purchased it had I read the label. The label reads: Popcorn Soybean oil Sugar Salt However, before purchasing an outrageously overpriced bag of 9 oz. of crappy popcorn for $ 7, I made sure to ask the man, «is it organic?» He says to me «yes, it’s organic and gmo free.» What a LIE. There is no such labeling saying this is organic or gmo free on the packaging. Boycott this nasty brand. Soybean oil is ALWAYSGMO, unless it says organic soybean oil. And even when organic, which is rare, It is also one of the extremely unhealthy oil as it disrupts the estrogen production in humans and causes them to produce more estrogen. You can’t trust this brand or this company. The man behind the counter flat out told me that it’s definitely Organic &GMO Free Which is clearly a LIE. He also mentioned it is sold at Safeway, where I would rather clean a toilet than step foot into. Nasty nasty nasty ingredients. Bad business sense on the young dude behind the counter. People go to farmer markers expecting high quality products, not gmo corn and toxic soybean oil. The sugar could possibly be gmo and the salt could be the cheapest most toxic of them all which is iodized salt. It did not even have Celtic salt, Sea Salt, or Himalayan sea salt. Seriously, don’t waste your $ 7 on 9 oz. of crappy popped corn which is likely toxic to your health. If you must eat popcorn, buy organic at the least and make sure it has olive oil, avacado oil or even sunflower oil. Soybean oil is dangerous to your health and canola oil is not even a real oil and mostly gmo. Won’t be back and am really pissed off that I was lied to in front of my children straight to my face.

Made with moldy corn and rats in warehouse… yikes! This business is really out for themselves and not their employees, I am very disappointed!

We have grown to love buying the Kettlecorn weekly at Hayward farmer Mkt on Sat. We had to skip a couple of weeks because of eating hab changed and this weekly wow to our surprise immedicately bag is smaller, taste much saltier, and more brown like over cook some. So much saltier that we have to wash it down with drinks. Is a rip off alright. Wish is not so salty. Well, back to the theater again like we use too.

I was making a mad dash through the Farmer’s Market on my way to the Civic Center Muni Metro station when this wonderful smell stopped me on my tracks. Turns out the kettle corn vendor, Gold Rush, just made a new batch of kettle corn and the smell was heavenly! The sold bags in $ 3/$ 5/$ 8. I paid $ 5 for a medium-sized bag. The guy filled it to the brim. I’m talking about so full that he can barely get that baggy tie over it. Nothing beats fresh popped kettle corn! I really like their kettle corn. It’s not too sweet and salty — just right. Hey, they even have a website where you can order!
