Always has amazing food, they are always busy but still take very good care of you and get the food out quick. If your going for breakfast on the weekend go earlie to beat the rush but if you don’t it will still be worth the wait

What an adorable restaurant. I felt like I had gone back in time –in a good way. The waitress was adorable and endearing, with old world hospitality. The pancakes were absolutely delicious.

Great service from Cristy, clean establishment, mediocre food. I don’t care if you serve an omelette the size of a newborn baby.; when the eggs are overcooked, it doesn’t taste good. Plus, no one needs to eat that much food. The pancakes are decent. I suggest sticking with them.

Great food and service. Good house coffee too which a big thing for me. I even bought one of their coffee cups as a souvenir.

Food, 5 stars but pricey. I don’t think you should have to choose between potatoes or toast when you’re paying $ 12 – 14 for breakfast. I can’t remember the name of my dish but it was hella good. It had eggs and sausage on top of English muffins with a mushroom sauce. I would say get the pancakes because that obviously is their specialty. Everybody I was with was happy with breakfast just thought it was a little overpriced. Waitress was ok. A little slow on the coffee but it was busy.

Nice and clean. Food is good. Have to order sides with breakfasts, potatoes, etc. Hot chocolate is good, but small. Only open for Breakfast 7am-2pm.

I have been going to the first Original Pancake House on Barbur Portland since the 70‘s.I ordered my usual Apple Pancake with a Side of Canadian Bacon and fresh squeezed OJ and coffee. You have to wait awhile and this time it was a huge disappointment when it came. The outer portion of the pancake was burnt crispy and the Canadian Bacon was only warmed up. If you like real Maple Syrup bring your own. For the prices you pay here it should be the real deal. The manager did remind us that she comped our drinks. Should have comped the pancake instead. Bring cash or check only.P.S. the Portland location is almost always jammed with people. A waitress there brought me a free Dutch Baby back before the owner died and the long time waitresses knew their regular customers. Deserved and left a generous tip.

We were able to be seated right away, though that didn’t mean anything since we had to wait at least 10 min before someone even came to ask about drinks. Service continued to be slow. Other than a whole lot of plates lining the wall there were no other decorations so the atmosphere was kinda boring, though I thought the waitresses had cute uniforms. I got the apple pancake, without the glaze since I figured it would be too sweet with it. I really enjoyed it, it nice and moist and they were generous with the apples. I thought it also tasted a little like Christmas. The pancake was too big so I didn’t finish, in fact nobody was able to completely finish their meal. So make sure you come with a big apatite!

After a long drive from Portland and sleeping late, me and the junior travelers were starving-and our resort has no restaurant! We headed the half mile or so to be greeted by the very friendly servers at OPH. Be warned-their omelettes are 4 egg and divine! Comes with pancakes or hash browns-I got the gluten free pancake upgrade since I’m GF. They were wonderful! They have excellent coffee and are great about keeping me topped off, which makes the mama a happy girl. One of the juniors got the eggs Benedict and its served in a boat to make sure all that goodness stays within the ingredients. Yummy! It’s a little pricier than most($ 50 for breakfast and no beverages other than one coffee) but the service is definitely done with a smile and the food was very good!

Best breakfast place in town! Ashley is always so wonderful bringing extra chocolate chips for our kids. Food comes out fast and hot. Very family friendly and has a cozy grandmas house feel when you walk in and sit down. Bathrooms are clean and staff all very friendly. A+

Wife and I ate here twice while in town. The food was really good. Was hot and fresh. We went with a party of 6. Would definitely recommend for breakfast. Enjoyed Coconut waffle, and bacon and eggs. White toast tasted home made. Fresh squeezed orange juice. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try.

Farm fresh eggs but no real maple syrup? If I’m pretty sure the original pancake came with the original maple syrup. Very sweet service, clean… open early.

This place was great. It’s almost all pancakes. A typical order comes out with 6 pancakes. They have options for half orders on their pancakes and french toast. The prices are cheap. We fed 3 adults and 2 kids for around $ 30.

Yeah!!! Finally a restaurant that has GREATGLUTENFREE pancakes! I was so excited to see GF pancakes on the menu that I ordered the blueberry ones and they were wonderful. Lots of varieties to choose from. Thanks so much for a great meal!!! I will definitely be back soon. Yummy!

**Disclaimer** I did not have pancakes The OG Pancake House left much to be desired. If you don’t want pancakes, your options are limited. I ordered a coffee and didn’t receive it until my meal came which was disappointing since the small cup cost $ 2.50. Also, there was no sugar substitute on the table and it took awhile to get waitresses attention to bring some over. I asked for a side of salsa for my eggs and was told I would be charged so I asked for some ketchup instead(which was free) and was given a small serving to go with my potatoes. Again, no ketchup on the table. Food was overpriced for the quality and portion size.

I got the vegetarian omelette with egg whites and tons of sriracha. It was bigger than my head, delicious and more than I could ever possibly consume in one sitting. The perfect breakfast to start off m vacation. Oh, and apparently Matthew Fox comes here on holidays, and the waitresses have a joke(because he is married and has 3 kids) so they call out, «Matthew Fox, Party of Five!») We were hoping to see him, we love Lost.

My fav place for pancakes. Yes. I know it’s a chain restaurant but trust me it’s delish. I go for the buttermilk pancakes with a side order of crispy bacon. They have a big fluffy crispy thin pancake called a dutch baby it has a hint of citrus TRYONE!!! Hubby had an omelette its not your basic omlette… when it comes out it’s huge and puffy and delicious… they also have another location out by the airport . Enjoy!

If you are looking for an outstanding breakfast in a friendly setting, you have come to the right place! The menu focuses on Pancakes, crepes, and waffles, and offers them in all flavors and sizes. If you are looking for egg dishes, I’m not saying they won’t be good here, but just be aware you are coming to a PANCAKE house, so don’t give a mediocre review just because you order something other than their specialty. By far the star of the pancakes is the colossal Apple Pancake. This delicious baked concoction takes up a whole plate, and arrives oven hot and puffed into a mountain of cinnamon apples and fluffy pancake. The bacon is thick cut, honey cured, and very tasty! The Crapes come with delicious sauces. On our visit, I had the Kijafa Cherry Crapes. The cherry portion was generous(no rationing of bites needed), with a delicious sauce. The Crapes had a delicious delicate texture, and were never rubbery. The service was also outstanding, with waitresses floating to and fro offering coffee, water, tea, and assistance if required. The restaurant itself is decorated country kitchen style, with a cute decorative shelf lining the entire upper wall, featuring fancy plates from all over. The restaurant space is large enough that it can accommodate larger parties, and should handle rushes much better than some of the smaller places in town. All in all, a great choice for breakfast if you are in Bend!

When I was reading the menu it sounded so good… but the look of their dishes were plain & boring… Good thick juicy bacon though, that’s why I gave it 3 stars. :) Oh and the service was GREAT!!!
