The Golden Voice

Aria Johnson is my vocal coach. She has helped me improve my confidence when hitting high notes, she’s helped with my breathing, my posture, facial expressions, performance, write and many more.
Every time I walk out of my session I always come out feeling better about not only my voice, but myself confidence. I walk out happy and proud!
I have a couple of singles out now on iTunes that she helped me with Vocal Production. Also, I used to not be able to sing Halo from Beyonce because of all of the riffs and crazy notes, but now I can sing it piece of cake infront of a lot of people.
Aria is great, and the experience is great from beginning to when ever you decide. With Aria, it’s all about you!

I live in Marina Del Rey which is where her studio is… so I decided to go even though the revues were so so. But, I was in the restaurant business, so I knew that sometimes the reviews don’t tell the story whole story, especial with coupons.
Anyhow, I went to see Aria. There is no doubt this person is a pro. I know this because the first thing she asked me about was me. Not what I like in music, or could I sing, or belt, whatever. Me. That is a professional.
I also got the distinct feeling she is a strait shooter. I take acting lessons, I figured this would help me with voice, breathing etc. And it did. Lots.
The only thing I would change is the price. Although there are price breaks.
On the upside you can learn allot very quickly with her way of teaching. She is super friendly in her style, and something tells me that she is also incredibly time and goal driven.

The Golden Voice, via Aria Johnson is a professional one stop shop for vocal lessons and industry training. The owner Aria has a confident but nurturing way of coaching and working with young talent. She listens well, but offers the right amount of push and constructive feedback to bring the best out of her clients. Its a pleasure to work with the Aria and the Golden Voice.

I received a singing lesson from my wife for Christmas and never had a singing lesson before. Although I love music and singing, I really had no idea how to improve or even if there were things I could do to improve. Aria started off our lesson by finding out what my goals were, which she used to customize my lesson to help me accomplish what I wanted to accomplish. I like how she taught me some fundamentals of singing (warm up and breathing) and worked with me until I got it right! Lastly, I really enjoyed practicing a song of my choice while learning some great techniques that I was able to practice right away! Aria is a professional coach and I would recommend her services to anyone!

Found her on lifebooker 3 months ago. I left numerous messages and 2 days before my lifebooker loot was about to expire, she calls and says shes booked and I will need to make another purchase for voice lessons. Thanks for nothing!!!

I got 3 singing lessons as a birthday gift so my lessons were very limited. I loved Aria’s method of teaching, it was very practical. One of the biggest hurdles was getting comfortable and singing in front of a complete stranger. Aria has a very warm, patient, easy going, fun personality which helped put me at ease.
She initially had me sing a few songs to evaluate my abilities (none) and then had me work on a song of my choice. Instead of boring you with music theory, she breaks down the song for you and teaches you techniques along the way. Its a great way to learn especially since its a song you picked yourself. If you are not musically inclined Aria will translate complicated singing theories to something easy for you to understand. The techniques are simple but effective. Aria makes sure you remember the techniques by having you repeat it over and over even after you’ve gotten it right. It worked! I still remember all the techniques she taught me when l practice singing in my recording studio (my car and shower) every day.
I wish I had more time with her to work on a few more advanced techniques. It would have been nice if she had a way to record each lesson so you can hear yourself improve. I tried recording off my phone but the quality sucked. I had no experience at all and ZERO natural talent when I first started. At least now, I have some experience (and still zero talent). Hopefully my singing is slightly more tolerable then before.
