My Lady Love took me to a 6 course Valentine’s raw food event here tonight, and it was extremely impressive. Everything was delicious to the max, veggie wraps, a lovely slaw, a very spicy ginger soup, a macca-green tea flan, pad thai with thinly shredded carrots as noodles, little yummy envelopes of I don’t know what, vegan chocolates, and a delicious love potion shot. I was a vegetarian for 9 years in my youth, but never had vegan food as good as this back then. So much flavor. Highest recommendation!

This review is only for their blended drinks. The hot chai tea latte was lukewarm, watery, and too gingery. I suspect the lady put in ground ginger instead of chai spices because I could not taste the chai at all, just a overpowering ginger flavor! The matcha maca(or something like that) was a tad better. Still not worth $ 7 and I definitely would not get that again. Service was great and the lady was extremely friendly. I wish it was just an off day as I’d love to come back to try other items.

There I was ordering a $ 9 drink and no booze in it! I forget what it was called but it was as blood red as the Unilocal heading. Beets did that. They also made my teeth blood red, right out of walking dead. I didn’t dare smile at anyone. My body wanted to reject the first several sips– as I’m no mega clean eater– I’m not a fast foody either but this drink was foreign to my system. It was $ 9 bucks! I had to drink it… once my system got used to it. it was fresh and delightful. I’m sure my little microbes were happy. Would I go back? Eh I’m not thinking so. $ 9 for some juiced beets, lemon etc– that’s steep. I’ll stick with tea and juice my own at home for a heck of a lot less.

I have go to say Salud has the best smothies I probably have ever had. Salud has a variety of healthy and sweet tasting smoothies, they also include a nice salad in their menu. If you are looking for a nice and healthy lunch, go here. Only one smoothie will make you feel full, and will want you coming back for more. They have a very nice environment, and comfy places to sit. They bring your food or drink to you once it’s ready, so you won’t have to wait standing up. The servers are very nice, and they make sure you’re satisfied.

I like that we have a raw café in bend and that it is right downtown. I am overall pleased when I go to Salud. This visit I ordered their«taco» entrée and my friend ordered the«taco» salad. Both are very similar and have the fake«nut meat» which surprisingly with the spices does give it that taco flavor without tasting beefy. The other things I enjoyed were the spiced peppitas and their cashew«sour cream» — I would say you get a better value with the salad. My favorite dessert items are the«cheesecakes» I have had some very good ones over the years– Apple spice, pumpkin spice, and chocolate– about $ 9 a slice but it is a very large slice. My other favorite desserts are the«cookie dough» balls covered in chocolate. I don’t eat here as often as I would like due to the prices– but I understand that nut based dishes are very spendy to make. I usually always take home most of my meals at other restaurants but haven’t had that experience here so far. But mind you it is very filling which surprised me! So I keep my visits limited to special days only. The only real criticism I have is that to me the desserts can sometimes not be consistent. I will go on to purchase one and then go on the next time and it is very different. An example is this little cinnamon roll Apple filled delight that I had purchased times before but recently I bought one and the«roll» part has been replaced with a thin slice of banana and the flavors changed a bit. Let’s just say my husband wouldn’t eat it and he eats everything :(

From an out-of-towner’s perspective I absolutely love this cute place. The woman who took my order and served me was super sweet and was very knowledgable about their food/drinks. I am very pleased with my pressed juice and if I lived in the area I would always come here for a little vegan bite to eat. I recommend the«ginger mint» pressed juice for anyone who likes a little tangy kick to their beverage. Overall, very pleased :)

Super delicious food! I think this is the only place in town that uses all organic ingredients. You have to try the falafel and collard green wrap. Love it!

Delicious! Exactly what I was looking for — gluten free, dairy free and super tasty. I got the taco salad for now and isla collard wraps for later. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Glad to know Bend has something to balance out all the pizza & beer!

In fact everything on their menu is like a magical playground/candyland I can’t wait to try! Thank you SO much for coming to Bend!!! 5 stars all the way. I would give 6 if I could.

As a vegan, good food is hard to find while traveling, but I was lucky enough to find this gem while driving through Bend. Ordered the mango taco salad and cacao oreo cake, both absolutely delicious. Very thankful this place exists.

What a wonderful place to have lunch! Our new favorite restaurant to visit when we are in Bend. Loved how they spread out some picnic blankets, pillows, and low level tabletops for outdoor dining on the lawn, under the big shade trees. They also have plenty of regular outdoor seating too, but how peaceful to enjoy a rawsome lunch picnic on the grass! We started off with a huge decadent slice of the raw mango«cheesecake» oh, la, la! Divine. Then I enjoyed the Ginger Apple Mint(and Ginger!) Green Juice — really hit the spot after our trek across the Eastern Oregon High Dessert. For lunch my husband and I shared 3 entrees! It’s not too often we get to go out for raw food(and being a raw foodie) I wanted to try everything! Highly recommend the Island Breeze Collard Wraps — Hello YUM! And my husband enjoyed the raw Tacos. Then we also shared the Raw Mediterranean Falafel Plate, lots of great flavors, bites and sauces. Fun stuff. The owner was super accommodating too! I always feel bad going out to eat, as I truly am the Queen of Food allergies and intolerances. But she was super accommodating, and I was still able to enjoy most of the goodness on their menu! We will be back!

Absolutely worth a try and then several more! Great ingredients, fresh, vegan, really delicious. Collard greens wraps? Oh yeah! Banana cream pie is probably the best I have ever tasted. It’s not cheap, that’s for sure. I seem to find the space in my budget though.

Wow! I heard about Salud a month or so ago but only just tried it today. When I moved here I was so bummed that there was only one vegan place(Sarah’s — which I love!!) for such a forward thinking community… Well no more! Salud is here and I plan on frequenting it enough to keep it in business :) I tried the Thai Salad which was so delicious and really hit the spot after a work out. I also couldn’t resist trying one of their desserts –an almond butter filled cacao heart… Be still MY heart. I think it may have been filled with dates too, yumm. The prices are pretty high but you are getting high quality fresh produce so I think it’s worth it. They not only have food but they have juices too. There was a hot ginger cardamom cider that was tempting me but I resisted… Everything is raw, everything is vegan… I imagine from my experience today everything is delicious too!

I saw a review of! Salud! in the Bulletin and had been craving raw foods and couldn’t wait to try it. A little hard to find since they don’t have a website and their Facebook page made it look like it was a food truck(it’s not). I finally figured out they are in the old Letzer’s Deli location adjoining the Re-Max building on Franklin St.(Sort of across from Chase bank — a cute, tiny space.) Maybe to some people, raw food doesn’t sound super-appealing at this time of year — but the kale wrap filled with cabbage, mango, carrots, and all manner of live goodness really hit the spot — and fueled an afternoon of rabid last-minute holiday shopping. I also tried the juice blend of lemon/apple/ginger(called John’s Blend? — if memory serves) — delightfully lemony. I felt like my immune system was about to cave to all the holiday stress — and lunch at! Salud! Saved the day. There were 2 staff members and while one was really cordial, the second was less than effusive. I went in prepared for a Dutch-Bros-style bombardment of extreme enthusiasm — only fueled by live enzymes. That’s OK though — I don’t need the person behind the counter to feign interest in me. The food made me feel good all on its own.
