So sad that this place is gone. We can only hope Othmar and Gretel return to the states and pop up on a corner in Bend. The best authentic german food served out of a trailer, Guten Apetit.

This place is amazing, eat here if you like good food. That being said they are a little pricy.

Although the trailer is parked in a lot on Century with a «For Sale» sign on it, the good people who own Red Napkin posted a «We’re still here!» note on their Facebook page today. These good folks are among the best of food trailers in Bend for integrity of food and business. Look for them to be back in business on March 21.

This food cart is soo good! I loved the wiener schnitzel, it was fresh and tasty! The spicy bratwurst was also delicious with the sauerkraut was so good. The brawt was very good flavor. The owners of the place were also friendly. The price was not too bad for everything either. I would definitely come back!

Mein Gott! I can’t believe I have lived in Bend for a year, yet never tried the Red Napkin. Great place for authentic, tasty German food. The food cart is owned by a friendly couple from Germany, who are happy to make suggestions if you don’t know what to order. I got the curry wurst(Lord help me, I love curry). The sausage wurst was cut into bite sized pieces and covered in a ketchup(not too sweet unlike American ketchup) and curry powder, served in a large bun. It was delicious. I wish they had a few German beers stocked for weekends(Weihenstephaner would be great). I will frequent this place often!
