Originally a lane county pizzeria called papa’s pizza. Then the owners split up and off, One owner then renamed«papas» Pappy’s Pizzeria and relocated to beautiful Bend. Same ahhmazing mouthwatering pizza though. I RECOMMEND the all meat pizza. I have never had beef on pizza before and this was perfection!

If you enjoy waiting a full hour for just one pizza, then you’ll enjoy this place. Most pizzerias usually have pizza ready in half that time, but Pappy’s did not. It was already almost an hour and I didn’t even feel like having it anyways. With the price, it should be much less if I am waiting that long. Almost $ 20 for a large?! The taste is mediocre, in my opinion. All in all, wouldn’t recommend if you’re impatient for food.

Pappy’s is the same as Papa’s Pizza in Eugene, its just ok, their crust is rather thick with a very thick sauce that they spread on the pizza like Spackle, its more like a canned tomato paste. For the price its not a great value but they are one of the only pizza places in Bend that delivers late. There are so many better pizza places in the area that deliver like Pizza Mondo(Best in Bend), Abby’s, and round table.

The pizza was ok. Not the best I’ve ever had. The play area was better than the pizza in my opinion. Not a place I would visit regularly. The staff people were nice though. Although, on a few occasions, I have been on the parkway only to be passed by a Pappy’s pizza delivery driver, doing upwards of 60 mph. The speed limit is 45. Not only did they fly past us, but we got stopped at the same light at Reed Market, and once it turned green, they continued to speed back to the restaurant. I understand they’ve got a job to do, but putting our lives in danger over a pizza isn’t one of them.

Pappys pizza is fine. It’s not great but it’s okay. The crust is nice with a fine texture and depth to it. One of my problems with them is that they use canned mushrooms. Frush mushrooms would make their pizzas so much better! A lot of other places in town use fresh and they are great!

We were invited for a birthday party to Pappys pizza. Our group ended up ordering four pizzas with some beer and some salads. Each and everyone of the staff members we encountered were very nice. Unfortunately half of the city’s power went out for about two hours but they were doing everything possible to make sure everyone enjoyed the party. My boyfriend had a piece of the taco pizza, barbecue chicken, pepperoni and he said they were very good. I ordered the vegetarian pizza and had a salad and I found it to be fine. The salad bar had plenty of selection and everything looked fresh. It’s not the best pizza I have had but not the worst either. This restaurant is perfect for children because they have a huge play area and they cater to parties. I enjoyed it and my good so will definitely be back for another children’s birthday party.

It’s just OK. Run of the mill pizza. But then again, Bend doesn’t have great pizza at all unfortunately. We’ve tried them all. It’s ridiculously expensive for what you get. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Just alright, nothing amazing. Pizza is not great, just ok. Their Wifi doesn’t work, so…

Ordered online at 5:30 pm. The order form said it would be delivered at approximately 6:30 pm. I wasn’t thrilled, but was willing to wait 60 minutes. At 7 pm, I called and was told ‘the online order form can’t anticipate how busy we are in the store. Your pizza will be leaving the store… soon”. So at 1.5 hours, it has still not left the store. I won’t be ordering from them again for delivery if I’m HUNGRY that’s for sure. Edit: The pizza arrived at 7:30 pm. Stone cold… and wait for it… instead of mushroom and sausage? it was mushroom and black olives. No sausage at all. I called and spoke to the manager who said«well we were very busy». He offered me a gift certificate for 2 free large pizzas. I am extremely unimpressed and will not be ordering from them again.

WORSTPIZZAEVER!!! My family and I had no choice but to stop over at this place for dinner after a very long day and ordered a veggie pizza. They f*cked up royally on a veggie pizza! They just grabbed an OLD cheese pizza, threw some raw tomato and olive on it and put it in a box — NOTJOKING! I really wish we had taken some pictures so you could see the horror. I am really not being dramatic but all of us(4 adults and 2 kids) threw up that night after eating Pappy’s pizza. Its unfortunate we could not go back to them to return their crap or ask for a refund since we are from out of town and had to leave that night. Even if these guys gave me a lifetime supply of free pizza, I would run far and away. Do yourself a favor, avoid the trouble of going to Pappy’s.

First off, look at the dates on these reviews before letting them influence your decision… Pappy’s doesn’t deserve a two star review, no way. Been to every pizza place in Bend and Pappy’s consistently has some of the best pizza in town. Their pepperoni is hands-down, the best. BBq chicken, hand-down, the best. There isn’t anything fancy about it, it’s just friggin good, when we get it delivered it’s still warm when it gets here(Reed mkt area). they have an online ordering option(look for coupons online as well). The kids love going there for the play area too so if we want to grab some beers and chill, we can. Only drawback is that the actual play structure needs to be updated(it’s functional, but not for much longer). I would give them major props if they gave that area a makeover. They also cater to large parties with private rooms.

Waaay too expensive for a place that reeks like stinky feet and body odor. I think I would feel less bitter about a mediocre pizza in a grungy place if it didn’t cost me 30 bucks. You can get a way better pizza in this town for the prices Pappy’s is charging. Unfortunately I had to go there three times in the last month for kids birthday parties and each time it got harder and harder for me to drag myself in that smelly place. The kids have fun there but I always feel like we all need showers once we get home. Bend really needs some better options for kid party venues!

The pizza and salad bar are nothing special but the play area makes it a great place for birthday parties.(FYI The play area at the Redmond Pappy’s is WAY more fun)

Who are we kidding? NOONE comes here for the pizza. It’s mediocre at best. It’s all about dumping your kid in the playroom so you can chat with friends while glancing through the windows to «supervise.» It would be 3 stars, but we got MAJORLY sick from our last visit. I’m sure they never sanitize anything in that playroom, and the general dankness of it attracts the types of low-life parents who bring their kids out in public when they’re contagious.

Years ago, this was Papa’s Pizza and it stunk. Pappy’s bought it out… when? Not sure. But we tried it once as a take out option for work and were genuinely surprised. Never eaten there, only done take out /delivery. Some reviewer’s have commented on price, but we feel it’s worth it. Besides, if you go online they usually have a coupon. At any rate, for take out delivery… we’ve come to really enjoy Pappy’s. Their combo is very good. Better than Abby’s, Round Table or the like. And their ranch is some of the best. Ask for extra. Another fave that is a surprise hit with us & the co-workers is the Taco Pizza. It’s surprisingly good. I gave Cibelli’s a high rating too… but trying to compare NY style pizza with Pappy’s is like trying to compare apples to oranges. YES, they are both fruit… but two entirely different types of pie. Basically, were we trying to decide between Abby’s, Pizza Hut, Round Table or Pappy’s…we’d go with Pappy’s hands down. That’s not to say those other places don’t have their own specialty pies that are very good… but for your generic combo pizza that is of the same caliber as the above listed places… we prefer Pappy’s with lots of ranch!

I heard the pizza wasn’t that great for the price, and that’s exactly how I would describe it. The pizza was just eh, but it was way too expensive. We actually went for the Kids Play Area. My nephews had a blast playing in there and that made paying $ 45 for a blah medium pizza and six fatty hot wings worth it. If you are looking for delicious pizza in Bend, Pappy’s isn’t the place. If you are looking for a place for your kids to run around while you sit and watch them, then Pappy’s is perfect. It gets really crowded in the play area so I wouldn’t recommend bringing children under 5 in the play area unless an adult is in there with them.

It’s birthday party season. And Pappy’s is apparently«the» place for kids’ birthday parties in Bend. I rarely see anyone in this place that doesn’t have kids. Unless they are on their way to their nephew/niece/grandchild’s birthday party. The big play room is the main draw. There is a big play structure that reminds me of a hamster habitrail. A few video games and an air hockey table appeal to the bigger kids. The play room is loud and smells like stinky feet, so smart parents nab a table close to the windows looking into the room. From there you can watch your kids — like watching monkeys at the zoo — without assaulting your nasal passages. It’s like Chuck E Cheese without tickets and that scary rat. The pizza is so-so, but you are kidding yourself if you are there for the pizza. The pepperoni is on the spicy side. The BBQ chicken pizza is pretty good. They have a salad bar and offer other«side» entrees(jojo potatoes and breadsticks) as well. There are regular and specialty sodas, beer(including microbrews), and wine available for the thirsty ones.
