Very helpful and friendly people. Tim P., of the Bend office, has been instrumental in helping us with our very unique project: putting in windows (actually skylights) in our extremely high pitched/​sloped A-​frame cabin. The president of the company, Eric, even made time to come and check out our project, as this was a pretty outside-​the-​box scenario for a skylight install. Tim B., the installer/​roofer has been incredibly helpful, as well. All around professional and down-​to-​earth people. The kind you want helping with big investments and your home projects! Before finding Lifetime W & D, we had looked into other local companies including Great Northern Windows and Doors, who kept stringing us along, with the end idea that our cabin wasn’t suited for adding windows. It was just «too complicated.» So, imagine how happy we were that we found a local company who not only communicated readily with us, but made this project actually happen. Turns out it wasn’t that complicated, just took some extra thinking, in order to make it happen! Now, we have 4 big skylights in our cabin, allowing for natural light and a much more open feel. They look like actual windows and bring the outdoors inside. The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars, is there have been some added bumps in the road, after the huge snow and recent melt process that we’ve been lucky to have in Central OR this winter. NO leaking or anything like that, but due to the custom nature of our project, some sheet metal around the windows can’t take the weight of the snow, so we’re trying to figure out a solution, which means we’re not quite done with these skylight installs. Again, Tim and Tim have been more than willing to help and we’re pretty sure all will be rectified. In the meantime, I HIGHLY recommend this company: they’re at the top of our list for hopefully being able to put in a metal roof, so snow will just slide on down our steep A-​frame. You will not find a more friendly and helpful company – use them when you need new windows, or skylights!

Lifetime is amazing from their office crew, to the salesman, to the workers. What a team!
I first found them on Angie’s List and called because I was in need of a couple new windows. I called the office and spoke with the lovely Tracy who is always upbeat, polite and keeps everything on track. She scheduled a time for a salesman to come out and I met Tim Pew. He was honest, helpful and answered all my questions. I didn’t know about the different ratings of windows, and I wasn’t sure what my rebate would be worth. He was very patient and not rushed.
We decided to get 4 windows on the 2^nd story replaced.
Next, the owner came out to do final measurements and helped me decide on what locks worked best for me. Again, he was an honest guy with a local company just trying to make each customer happy.
When the crew showed up to do the work, they were professional, clean and very nice. They even wore booties over their shoes and they vacuumed the whole space when they were done.
The windows look so clear, it is like there is no glass at all. The screens are special too because they don’t obstruct your vision.
Long story short… after my first experience, I had them come back and replace all five of the 1^st floor windows. Then, I asked them to come back and cut in some high windows in my bedroom to bring in more light. I was very nervous but they cut through my walls and framed the windows and they look beautiful. Now every morning, we wake up to lovely natural light.
I highly recommend the entire crew at Lifetime! The prices were very reasonable and the work was excellent.

Lifetime Windows and Doors replaced my old front door and sliding doors to my basement with a beautiful new wood front door and some french doors replacing the old sliding doors. Tim came to my house and spent a lot of time going over all the options available and followed up promptly with ordering the doors I decided on. The installation was very professional and easy for me. The company followed up quickly to make sure I was satisfied with the doors and the whole process. It was totally hassle-​free for me.

I actually found Lifetime Windows and Doors on Unilocal when I was looking to install new windows on my house. I was a little nervous to go with someone without a personal referral but after seeing all the great reviews on the Portland site I made the call to get an estimate. Tim came by and gave an estimate and we just had a good feeling about the integrity of him and his company and the price was right. We ended up doing new windows and three new doors. I was amazed at how smooth the installation went and at how quiet our home felt with the new windows. All around it was a great experience working with Lifetime from start to finish. They really care about doing good quality work and giving really great customer service. I would definitely call them again to do work on my home in the future. Thanks for the new awesome windows!

Lifetime replaced my back door which had been destroyed over the course of a few years by a combination of rain and curious chickens (it was particle board). I wish I hadn’t waited so long to call them. They were super easy to deal with. The new door is great and 100% chicken-​proof.
