Dr Dondo Dental Excellence

I dont like to write negative reviews, but this was outrageous.
Took my daughter there for a new patient exam. She had outgrown her pediatric dentist and we needed to switch her to a general dentist. Dr. Dondo said she had three cavities. She has always had great teeth and never had any problems, and wasnt having any dental pain or sensitivity. We scheduled for $ 800 of work to be done, we currently dont have dental coverage. I had an uneasy «mom» feeling and decided to get a second opinion. I asked around to friends and family and scheduled with the other dentist. The second opinion revealed that she had NO need for any fillings. There are simply pits in her teeth that have been there for a long time. Dr Dondo wanted to charge us over $ 800 for work that didnt need to be done! Im appalled and feel like so many are probably taken advantage of by this office and never know it. Especially the elderly. Its evident to me now why he has to advertise so much all over TV and radio.

It was a great and calming experience. They showed me all my options, and gave me different price options. I went in because of the coupon they posted, but I’m staying with them because of the great service.

The only reason I gave him one star is because I had to fill out the star rating. No stars for this dentist. My father who is 76 years old has been going to dr. Dondo. My father has 6 teeth. He got his teeth cleaned this week and they charged him 125.00 really! They continually try to get him to buy things. It’s like buying a used car. He finally made the break and went to another dentist. The new dentist told him that they left a burr on his teeth and could not believe that he just got them cleaned. This dentist took advantage of my older parent. Beware!

Dr. Dondos office is the best! Everybody is friendly, the doctor is very gentle, and the hygienist, Barbara, is awesome! I highly recommend this office to anyone who needs any dental work done!

I had the most pleasant experience for having a tooth removed I think possible … Warm and friendly staff, a gentle understanding dentist… I actually look forward to going back for my cleaning and regular exam… he saw me on a emergency basis this first time and now I’m going to be a client for as long as I live in Bend this is how impressed I was with this Dental team !!!
