Love this place! I can’t decided what I love more, the friendly staff, super fast service, or quality in their work! I’ll never go to another dry cleaner again.

Incompetence all around! And how the hell did they get on Angies list?! I didnt know they could be bought! I finally got my comforter back after two weeks and three phone calls. First they lost the ticket stating who owned the comforter they picked up. The worst part is my comforter came back dirtier than when it left my hands! And it has a pen mark on it that was not there before! It doesnt smell clean either. I will never go back!

As you can see from only 1(or 2 if they’re feeling nice) star reviews, this is Not the best choice for Anything, and as one review said, there are Many dry cleaners in town from which to choose… Instead of owning up to any mistakes made, the manager Dennis just tells you to take your business elsewhere; it’s actually a bit hilarious.

This place is the worst. Been getting my business shirts laundered for 30 years. Cathy’s takes out the collar stays and doesn’t replace, which makes shirts unwearable. Collars flip up, clown-like. When I wrote them, they said they just fall out sometimes. No attempt to correct or take responsibility. Never had this happen before anywhere. Worthless.

Thought I should provide an update on the carpet debacle… when it finally was delivered back to me all looked well — they left it wrapped in plastic and I thought they might have just redeemed themselves. However, once I opened the wrapping, the carpet looked like it hadn’t even been cleaned. It’s pretty easy to tell if something has been cleaned when it’s a white carpet. It looked like they wrapped it to send it off-site which they had told me they needed to do — but what I received in return was the same carpet — it didn’t even smell clean. Bottom line is this place is awful and rips you off — quoting one price and then charging another and then they don’t even do the service charged for.

This company has no organization or accountability. Lip service is all you get. Items were sporadically delivered incomplete and after 3 weeks I believe they have lost two cashmere sweaters because every time I call I get a different story –no one returns my calls. I am done with this company completely!

Here’s a review that anyone interested in finding a dry cleaner in Bend should read: In March of this year, I was new to Bend and in the market to find a dry cleaners/alterations/laundry and pressing company. I had seen a sign off of Simpson advertising«Free pick up and delivery» at Cathy’s Cleaners. I thought that sounded great. I even liked the name of the company: Cathy’s Cleaners sounded like a nice, good company… but Cathy’s Cleaners is anything but. For a short while the pick up and delivery went well. But soon, problems surfaced: my simple clothing instructions were not followed and not acknowledged. I clearly noted in the clothes bags provided what needed dry cleaning or pressing. This got reversed/mixed up at least 70% of the time. I would let them know. It didn’t matter. This continued to happen. Finished pieces would be delivered that were not mine. Often my items would be delivered to other customers. I was giving this company a lot of business. My weekly bill was very high. I was a «good customer». But this didn’t matter. It was a big mess that didn’t stop. Finally, I became so frustrated, and it was all such a hassle that I informed them I would no longer be using their services. I had given this cleaners so many chances. I concluded I would never be seen or heard. It was then that the owner contacted me(and rightly so) via email. He offered me an appropriate credit to be used toward future business. My(naïve and trusting) thought was«After all of this, maybe this gesture to keep me as a customer could turn things around. Maybe they will now(finally) starting to „do the right thing“». Wrong. I continued and the«business as usual» began again in earnest. All(mercifully) ended for me once they lost a pair of my daughter’s favorite jeans that I had turned in for mending. They denied they had them. I was told they had looked everywhere and they were not there, they had delivered them to me. All I had was my word and my word was not honored. Flat out, I had the jeans, they had delivered them to me: their records showed that these jeans had been delivered. Wrong. As if I had made up a possibly contentious situation to rip them off. I did not have them. They never returned them to me. They lost the jeans but blindly blamed me. My subsequent emails to the owner were either not answered or were in the spirit of arguing with a customer that the customer was wrong and they were right. Finally, I proposed I be paid in good faith $ 20.00,(this was but a token $amount$ suggested by me in lieu of ever recovering or resolving the missing-jeans issue). With maybe one or two exceptions, my emails left unanswered by the owner. Finally, I wrote the owner, stating he left me no choice but for me to write a review of their operations in Unilocal to alert others of their business practices. Finally, I was sent an email from the owner who wrote that he would send me a check. I never received a check. The one time I spoke with Cathy, she was impolite and brash. The owner(not Cathy) employs practices that seem anything but legal. I have never experienced such rude and thoughtless disregard of me, a/their customer, in any business I have ever dealt with in my life. The Cathy’s Cleaners experience was Just Awful.

In late October, I took some sweaters in for cleaning and a skirt in for alterations to the Westside location, which advertised on-site alterations. When my sweaters were done, one that had beautiful beaded flowers was ruined. The manager was nice, wanted to make it right and didn’t charge me for the cleaning. Accidents happen. But, what made me decide to never go back was the alterations debacle. The skirt — a simple shortening job and minor take-in of the waist — was to be done in about 2 weeks. When the due date came, I received a call that it would be another couple of days before it was done. That was no problem and I appreciated the call. However, it would be the last time I heard from anyone so a month after I had taken the skirt in, I went to the cleaners to find out where it was. No one seemed to know as apparently the alternations were not«on site» as advertised. Later that day, I received a call that they found the skirt and I could pick it up the next day. But when I went to get it, it was not there and again, they had to call around to try to find it. Again I received a call that I could pick it up the next day. This time, the skirt was there when I went to get it but I could not believe what I saw. The skirt had just been cut off — that was how the skirt had been shortened. No hem, no nothing. Just a raw cut. And the take in of the waist was done nicely on one side but on the other, there is a bulge. Again, they didn’t charge me – not sure what I would be paying for anyway — but after 4 weeks, I will have to redo the alteration on the waist and sew a hem myself that will have to be a teeny tiny hem since they cut the skirt to the finished length. I will never go back.
