I’ll never go back. My husband and I were there on Halloween morning just after they opened. The place was filthy! Rice on the floor, bathrooms were nasty, and the condiments area was awful. My ice tea tasted as if the pitcher they brewed it in hadn’t been cleaned in a while.

I ate here twice and both times I ate the same thing because it was so delish! I had Chillean Zucchini on top of greens with added tofu and tempeh on skewers. Great food, great service and nice neighborhood, too :)

Food was just OK, nothing special and overpriced for what you get — brown rice, Tillamook cheese, beans, and some other toppings. However they have some options that will satisfy a picky eater who wouldn’t normally go to this type of restaurant. Its located in the Old Mill Shops and there is limited parking nearby, especially if you have a large vehicle. Seating is not conducive to groups over four people, and I felt the layout of the whole place was unnatural.

We experienced Yumm sauce for the first time in our lives down in Ashland, OR this past weekend and were super excited to find an actual Café Yumm! in Bend, OR. The sauce is amazing and after a 7 mile roundtrip hike to Tumalo falls it was the perfect place to fill up and recuperate with some great food. I got the spicey food bowl with tofu and it was awesome. They absolutely accommodate vegans and its well worth the stop for some delicious food. If only there was a Café Yumm! on the east coast…

Oh my goodness– as if I needed another reason to want to move to Oregon, Café Yumm is it! I stopped in here on the way back to SF post music festival at the suggestion of my roommate who went to UofO for college. We both had the edamame Yum bowls– and they were incredible! My roommate also bought a bottle of the Yum sauce for us to bring home, and the store manager was nice enough to fill up our cooler with ice so the sauce would make it the 8 hours we had left to drive.

I do enjoy Café Yumm, their staff is always friendly and the food comes out fast and consistent. The Yumm sauce is good and you can buy it for home use @ about $ 15 a bottle :0 but I just have found myself frequenting Café Yumm less and less over the years. It just seems very overpriced for what it really is, rice, beans, sauce, and toppings. I also feel like their portions shrank a year or two ago and I don’t feel full when I leave anymore– I’m a tiny person FYI So if you go you will be happy but also maybe wondering why you didn’t google a recipe and make it at home

I don’t understand the love for this place. They put their Yumm sauce on just about everything… and it tastes like crap. It’s a nasty sauce. People seem to love it for some reason, but it’s terrible. In addition, they thrive on the ‘feel-good’ menu based around healthy choices and odd substitutions in the name of health. Most of what I’ve had is bland, mediocre food. It’s not terrible, but it’s just sub-par. Maybe if I didn’t find the Yumm sauce so offensive they’d be good, since I’m getting rid of the overpowering taste of that in any dish I order, possibly leaving it bland without. At any rate, it seems like one of those gimicky health-nut opportunist restaraunts. Meh.

Big fan. We need more places like this. Healthy food, prepared quickly, and not too expensive. I basically just get the yumm bowl and it’s always tasty. Plus free wi-fi and smiling faces.

Karli has done it again, opening a new Café Yumm! on the Eastside of Bend. Café Yumm! is my favorite go to spot for lunch here in central Oregon and I’m very excited for this new opening. I frequent my mother-in-law on the Eastside and we always make our way to the Old Mill location. But now we can run just down the street. Thank you Café Yumm! for being a great part of my culinary community

I really like Café Yumm. I have been to a few other locations around Oregon, and they are franchised I believe. I went to the one in Beaverton quite frequently, and their prices are much less expensive than the one in Bend. I was able to get a tofu skewer in Beaverton for $ 3.00 — in Bend it’s $ 4.50! I was disappointed in the higher prices; however, food is great! I’ll be back, just with a little more cash next time.

I am addicted to Café Yumm… I have had it twice now and each time I was blown away by how fresh and delicious everything was. I would recommend this place to anyone who has taste buds!

This is a chain. But, it’s not in North Carolina. And, there are a lot of vegan options. So, during our Honeymoon in the Pacific NW, it seemed like a perfect fit for one of our meals out. I opted for the Secret Asian Man Salad with tofu. I was in need of a salad, and it definitely satisfied that need. My husband ordered the Tempeh Reuben, and it give it a big thumbs up. Good beer on draft. Simple, easy, inexpensive. Would revisit if another Café Yumm! was in the neighborhood.

Not many people know this about my friend Jericho but he has a prosthetic leg. For what feels like forever, we talked about going to a restaurant, and when we see the prices, I’d say«man everything here costs and arm and a leg» and Jericho would unstrap his bionic and say«hey john, this one’s on me.» Yesterday was the day and we decided to choose Café Yumm our victim. So we show up around lunch time and it is kind of busy but not too bad. And we approach the front of the line, but it turns out the prices here are actually pretty reasonable. Very reasonable in fact. The menu was so inexpensive we decided to save our epic joke for another day.

Ok, I live in Bend but had never been in before so I wanted to give it a try. Sorry I did. I ordered an asian salad that seemed to me as though the ingredients were all placed on the plate from pre made packages. You know, how the chicken is chopped into nice little exact fast food type squares rather than pulled from the bird? The dressing was terrible so I didn’t eat any of my meal, but my wife ate the salad she ordered. She did say it was probably her first and last visit too. The empty tables were pretty dirty and the staff seemed either bored or tired(although we did go there following the lunch rush so I guess the mess was somewhat understandable). I would say that if you like food courts in malls this may work for you, but honestly with such great places to eat in Bend only minutes away from here I will probably never go back.

Clean, modern Asian-influenced design. People at the register were friendly & helpful. Ingredients seemed fresh & healthy. Just couldn’t shake the feeling the menu was borne of a business & marketing plan, rather than a love of cooking great food. Great convenient location. Interesting concept, needs a better execution of the menu. My impression is that it’s a new place still working out the kinks– surprised to hear its a chain expanding from Eugene.

Café Yumm! was quite good. A customer of Kayo’s Dinner House in Bend actually ran outside and recommended Café Yumm to us(but that is another story). We took her up on her recommendation and drove down to Café Yumm! I ordered the Edamame Yumm Bowl. The bowl contained organic brown rice, original Yumm! Sauce, green soybeans, and was topped with seaweed, cheddar cheese, diced tomato, fresh avocado slices, sour cream, and black olives. It was actually pretty tasty. There were all sorts of options at Café Yumm! which looked quite good. I also ordered one of their oatmeal raisin cookies dipped in dark chocolate, which was extremely good! My friends ordered the Yumm n Greens and the chicken skewers… and of course some chocolate chip cookies dipped in chocolate! They were all quite impressed. I would definitely visit Café Yumm again to try some more of their Yumm Bowls.
