Long drive home on a cold night and I wanted a hot drink. I ordered a chai tea latte with no foam. While I was waiting for my drink I seen the kid steaming the milk in a low fat milk container and notice the skim milk next to him. I asked him if that was for my drink and told him I want regular milk and he told me it was and they just use any kind of container to steam that the milk wasn’t low fat. I believed him until I took a drink it was skim milk. I understand you might only have skim milk or made a mistake I get it things happen and I’m only writing this because the employee came right out and lied to me, instead of taking the extra two minutes and fixing the problem.

The service at this starbucks was horredous. The Barista, Shelby was extremely rude. When asked how we can redeem the free birthday drink, she looked disgusted at us and said «umm, we don’t redeem that here» then she scoffed when we asked for a receipt. I thought starbucks was all about custome experience, I have never had such a terrible experience at a coffee shop as this. Will never visit this locatien again, even if it is located in the oasis.

I don’t think they know what an espresso shot is. I guess the flavored milk was a plus.

Hillside, IL
This Starbucks location is at the final Oasis coming into Chicago on I90 (East bound). Otherwise, you will have to exit the expressway and drive around a bit to find another Starbucks. I love that it is conveniently located at the Belvidere Oasis. There are other shops including McD’s. We always stop here on our road trips for Starbucks, bathroom break, and fuel.
