We purchased two bikes here a while back. They were your average Schwinn mountain bikes, nothing too special. Upon purchase the bikes came with a one year warranty from the store and I think it was one free tune-​up annual tune-​up.
The warranty came in handy because one of the bikes got a hole in the inner tube after several months riding. We brought it in and the guy fixed it up right away with no hassles. Loved it!
Love that local business can triumph big box stores in quality and service!

Best bike shop in N. IL. They provide top rate service. They do not compete with the China-​marts of the world. .. their bikes are quality and they stand behind their products. Have bought many bikes from Jim over the years and always been more than satisfied. This is a model business that many retail shops could learn from.

Thank you Bluege’s Bike and Auto for the EXCELLENT service. After a recent mishap with my bike the owner went above and beyond the call of duty to repair my bike fast, properly, and with detailed explanation. You will not go anywhere and receive this type of service! Check them out, you will not be disappointed!

Bought a bike from this place last year and have had nothing but problems! Not really sure if the bike was built properly or what. Had to bring the bike back twice and still has issues. The Townie bike is very nice but I wish there were more people that sold the bike locally.
