Ok, look: The Tax Lady has some personality, but she also has a really good heart and is looking out for her people. You can probably expect to be shamed for going to HR Block or not paying your quarterly taxes if you’re self-​employed but she’s kinda like your Tough Tax Mama. Going into a tax appointment with The Tax Lady is pleasure and pain all in one. You feel violated and embraced all at the same time. There are highs, there are lows. Who knew tax season could be so interesting? In any event, make the appointment, bring your documents and buckle your seat belt. She’s wild but has saved me a lot of money and helps me sleep soundly at night. A number of my friends who are also self-​employed go to her and she keeps us humming.

I have used Patricia for nearly 10 years. She has big personality and is really able to get you to be forthright and honest with her. The time she invests into people and to really get to know them is an incredibly rare trait these days from anyone in financial services. Tax lady knows my near term and long term goals and always provides honest and professional guidance to meet them.
I couldn’t ask for more from a financial advisor. She’s the best and she makes tax season enjoyable! Highly recommend!

I have had my taxes prepared by Patricia Mouille for over 15 years. I made the mistake of using another CPA the year I moved out of the Bay Area in 2002 (should have just made the 2 hours drive to her office) and quickly went running back to her and have been with her ever since. She is absolutely the BEST and she does know her stuff! There’s a reason she’s been around for so long — she is very good at what she does. She explains everything and will guide you through the tax preparation process; if you are a small business owner she understands those needs/​concerns (since she is a small biz owner herself). She knows what she is doing and knows how to help her clients. As long as I live in California, Patricia will be doing my taxes and will ALWAYS be my accountant. I have referred a number of people to her over the years and will continue to do so; all of them LOVE her. I am so thankful that I was referred to her back in the 90’s… She is truly a gem!

She is always through, walks us through the tax issues, is proactive in helping us think strategically about tax implications for ongoing and one time events. To save myself the embarrassment of spilling my deets online, let me say that I found Patricia to bend over backward to assist me. I needed help year round to rectify the situation. Patricia definitely has a personality buy I have found her to be thorough and expert in sorting out my self-​employed tax (and back tax) scenarios. Patricia is an interesting lady with a flamboyant and strong personality. I had my taxes prepared by her for at least a few years before I married, moved and switched to my husbands preparer in order to simplify matters. A few years previously I received communication from the IRS about issues with the return (one of the issues was an oversight by Patricia.) I found her to be overbearing then curt when I explained the situation then asked for her assistance to resolve it. It occurred to me to look for someone else to work with for the next year’s taxes but unfortunately it slipped through the cracks, I rationalized she’d had a bad day and I used her again.
I have just received a notice regarding another tax year (3 years previous to now) that she prepared and she irritatedly reviewed the details with me and suddenly seemed to realize that I didn’t use her this past year (due to my marriage and move) at which time she said I should ask my current preparer to assist me otherwise she will charge me. She is happy to rush through the tax preparation (with questionable accuracy) and collect a fee, but if there is a problem watch out for her attitude and dismissive tendencies! I would not recommend her.
