I was expecting this place to have a old time soda fountain feel. The overall appearance was dingy, and it didn’t feel very clean. It was extremely obvious my friend and I were out of place in this restaurant. I feel as though since we weren’t «regulars» we were being treated oddly. They weren’t very friendly when explaining to us how the menu worked, and the food was overpriced. I had a croissant sandwich with chips and a sweet tea. The sandwich was tiny, maybe about 4 inches. I left hungry and unsatisfied.

This place is pretty uninspired. Old folks seem to like it, and that seems to be their main customer type. It’s the same menu every week, example– Monday is chicken, Tuesday beef casserole, etc, and you move down the line like a Luby’s picking your sides. You can also get sandwiches, soups and salads, but I didn’t think any were anything great.

Loved the chicken salad sandwich! Chicken salad was perfect– not goopy and very tasty. The Orange foo-foo is a nice treat! Came in at closing as did others and owner cheerfully welcomed us!

Nice family atmosphere, I go here for lunch a lot since it’s walking distance from my work and they always give me a free tea.

Found this place on Unilocal,on a road trip. It’s only about a mile and a half off the highway. And it’s right on the Belton Townsquare so it’s easy to get to. And getting back to the highway was a breeze. So, if you’re thinking about stopping it’s easy to do. Just as we stepped up to the line one of the really nice staff walked up and asked us if it was our first time. She then explained the menu, made some suggestions, and warned us that they would try to sell us pie. :-) The restaurant was very clean and even though it was a little busy the food was prepared quickly and professionally. It’s a subway-style set up, but of course the food is significantly better. The menu consists of sandwiches, salads, and soups. And also pie. I think I saw milkshakes and floats as well but we didn’t try any of those. Next time… I had the Dagwood sandwich. My wife had the chef salad. Andrew had the grilled chicken salad. John had a BLT. John also had a delicious piece of peanut butter pecan pie. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely make this one of our regular stops.

This nice restaurant was highly recommended by the friendly owners of Aida’s Outlet and boy were they right! They have coffee drinks, pie, soups, sandwiches and daily specials. Chicken and dumplings on Wednesdays. We each had a bowl of freshly made chili. And I had a delicious dagwood sandwich that I cheerfully shared with wifey. The employees were very nice. Belton has a lot of antique shops. Come visit Belton and try out Sarsaparilla for lunch.
