Had the stuffed pepper, potato soup, pumpkin muffins and pumpkin pie! Awesome food! Very friendly and clean! Highly recommend it!

The food was delicious and the tea even more amazing. The place is cute. However the waitress who is also the daughter of the owner was rushing us, and pressured my friend who couldn’t decide what to eat. We didn’t feel relaxed. She was a bit rude. Not sure I would go back.

On 4−2−15, I had lunch here with a friend, to celebrate our upcoming Birthdays. –She had been here before and loved it. Located on Main St. In Belton Mo. First impressions: Country-cute tea room décor, speckled enamel plates, ample seating, very good & friendly service. Run by a mother-daughter team, specializing in feel-good baked goods, soups, sandwiched, salads, & specials of the day, so daily menu is rather limited. However, if you can’t find something that appeals, you may be too picky. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit & we both picked exactly the same food: a house salad combo w/slice of quiche made of bacon, broccoli & a ton of cheese(my favorite food group). Salad was mixed greens with lots of veggies, nice! –Fresh baked bread w/butter, served w/meal. For dessert: Lemon chiffon cake, big enough to share & still look like a full serving! I chose a lovely hibiscus-coconut tea– Republic of Tea is offered, with many choices. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch but later that day, both came down with very bad food poisoning. It was a long night! I’m calling them now, to let them know, but that has definitely has put me off a return visit. I’m sure they have served thousands of safe meals, but yesterday was not the kind of birthday lunch I want to remember!

Very few eateries serve really, really good food and fewer add that extra ingredient… TLC. Eat there, talk to Bev and Molly and you’ll see why everything they serve is superb.

Shining star in downtown Belton. The historic main street feels like it needs a little CPR to keep its heart beating, and this place is just the place to do it. It’s charming. My best friend and I had lunch here and to quote her word for word she said«Places like this just make me happy». I agree. Homemade HIGHQUALITY food in a room decorated with family photos, mason jars full of canned veggies, mirrors, garden tools and everything that makes it feel homey. I liked how each table has matching chairs, and when you order tea you get your very own porcelain tea pot. The baked potato soup was very good, lots of cheese and flavor. If it’s on the menu and you pass it by, shame on you! The service was a little slow because it was busy in there and all I saw was the one lady waiting tables and the one at the register. The prices might feel high, but again for lovingly prepared homemade food I think well worth it. I’ll be coming back and with more friends in tow!

I was actually quite impressed with this place. Belton NEEDED this kind of place. Home made everything. Cute décor. Large selection of teas and it’s buffet style every 2nd Sunday for brunch. All you can eat. Runs about $ 45.00 for two and that includes drinks. So eat all you want, although that’s hard to do because there is so much good stuff to choose from. We went there for Sunday brunch and it wasn’t too busy. Great selection of foods like breakfast pastries, strawberry salad, pasta salads, GREAT biscuits and gravy(homemade), killer quiche. I usually don’t even like quiche but it is just so buttery and delicious! They also had home made spaghetti and red sauce with sausage. Don’t get me started on their dessert choices. I stood there at least 10 minutes trying to decide between homemade strawberry cake and chocolate pie and homemade lemon pie. I chose the lemon pie even though I wanted the strawberry cake. The lemon pie wasn’t your typical pie. It has a nice crust on the top that added a crunch to the creamy middle. Also it wasn’t too overwhelming of lemon flavor. I usually don’t like lemon desserts because the lemon is almost always too overwhelming. But I really, really liked this dessert. Also, the service is awesome. Very sweet lady is always there to seat you(I think she is the owner), and great wait staff. Nummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm They need to do more brunches and not just on every second Sunday! Anyways! Definitely going back!
