Our server was extremely nice. BUT we order cheese Burger plates without onion and lettuce and it came out with chili the waitress said that’s the way it came which is fine other then the fact it’s not listed in the menu what is on the burger and we were never told I hate chili so to me I wasn’t very happy about this. I think it should say on menu they are severed with chili. Also after we got our food the waitress was Mia because he manager asked her to go dust which is fine but she never came to check on us and we were out of drinks. Overall the food was good just wish we were informed about the menu more.

The food and pricing are good for a small town restaurant. My favorite dinners are the Smothered Chicken and the Hamburger Steak w/gravy and onions, and a smaller 6 oz. Sirloin Steak. All come with 2 sides. They have a variety of sides that are good. They are homemade onion rings, fresh french green beans,(I have them add grilled onions to mine and they are yummy), fried okra, fried green tomatoes, side house or caesar salads, slaw, baked potato, french fries or house homemade wedge fries. They have ice cream by the scoop, cheesecake, and pies of the day as well. They also offer a kids menu,(small entrée w/fries) as well.

Once the crowds died down enough to eat here, we went. It is good American food. Try it if you live in or are passing through Belton. The hamburgers are the best choice here. I’ve had the steak and salmon, they taste ok(not great, but not bad), but the portion size is small and I leave hungry. They do have a limited menu, but the food is good and priced fairly. My biggest issue with is the kids menu. If you order a hamburger off the kids menu, you do not get a bun??? I’m not sure why, and we have requested a bun, and had to pay grown up prices to get a bun, but that is a bad business decision. All and all it is a good place to go. I give it 4 stars«for being in Belton».

Finally managed to make it in the door without a wait for dinner as this recently opened restaurant has been the talk of the town, and it is well deserved. I had the Famous Club(Turkey) and it came with generous portions of meat, nicely buttered and char-toasted Texas Toast, and the veggies were all fresh. Others in my party were just as happy. Nice 50−60s era Americana décor with a modern touch including a bar-area(non-alcoholic) for single diners and flat-screen TVs. The only downside is the service seemed kind of rushed, but that’s standard procedure for a place like this. We’ll be back. Prices are great for the portions and quality of food they give you. Great place to take the family for a quick bite to eat that’s easy on the wallet.

Three words: SIXOUNCESIRLOIN! I ate on Wednesday night. I had the 6 oz sirloin with sweet potato fries. It was probably, the best sirloin I have ever eaten. I typically shy away from sirloins, but I was in the mood for a steak and gave it a shot. I was very happy I did and it was under $ 10 for my steak and fries. The night before, I had a ribeye over at Rare, a nice restaurant in downtown greenville that I love to frequent, and the sirloin at Arnold’s was just plain better. The topper is that the ribeye at Rare was a $ 30 steak without any sides! I returned the following day for lunch and had the grilled chicken and onion rings and they too were very good, as you would expect from the Arnold’s hamburger chain.
