Dairy Queen

Sadly this is the closest DQ to our house and I have a special place in my heart for the DQ blizzard. This place is open year round which is nice. They also prepare the food relatively fast and have a drive through.
That’s where the positives end. If you walk into this DQ it looks like it belongs in a post-​apocalypse film. The sign boards are broken. The kitchen are looks like a bomb went off. The machines haven’t been cleaned in years. Overall, not where I would want to be consuming food. That being said, I have never gotten sick eating there… But is that really where we want to set the bar?
Overall, if you are craving DQ, use the drive through, because it’s better to be blind as to the ongoing a inside. If you want a clean place to get ice cream, head to Culver’s. If you are like me and just have a bad craving for a blizzard and don’t care that it’s coming from a place dirtier than a food cart in New York City, go for it… hell I haven’t gotten sick yet!!!
