Peninsula Tile and Stone Gallery

I just have to say with all the stiff competition around the area within the stone and tile businesses, Glenn and his staff made sure that I was happy and satisfied with my purchase. As well as standing behind his product. Really you can buy tile anywhere, but having Glenn’s expertise in choosing the right color combination saved me a great deal of time. I am a firm believer in supporting local businesses. Walking in his show room gave me so many different options. Thank you Glenn. I hear you updated the showroom, can’t wait to swing by to see what you have done! Stephanie

Bought our kitchen tiles there and had them installed also. Very happy with selection, we shopped around, and also happy with work done at our house. Good price, fast, and good work. Personally I don’t care whether he has everything in stock or orders as needed… as long as I can get what I want. He may seem less warm and fuzzy-​friendly than other shop owners but I think it’s more of a language thing rather than actually being rude.

I would like to thank Belmont Tile for restoring my house from water damage done through out my house. Not only were they able to do my flooring, but also the dry wall, painting, and cabinet repair work. Allstate were also amazed and impressed on how well the tile work Belmont did on a previous contract with stud all of the water. It save Allstate some money, plus shorten my stay away from my house.
Belmont tile may not stock the tiles in their store, but they do have a very nice show case of tiles to select from, and if they don’t have what you are looking for, just bring in a sample of what you looking for, and they will order the tiles and sale to you at a very nice competitive price, at least that’s what happen to me.

After I have posted an original review, the owner of Belmont Tile countered it with multiple inaccuracies :
1) We (my wife and I) WERE told by him that tiles were Italian-​made.
2) The owner does not stock ANY tiles in the store, but rather orders them from the distributors when customer makes a purchase so he considers ALL orders to be SPEACIAL ORDERS
3) We tried to look for other mosaic tiles in the store to exchange, but could not find any that would go nicely with our new countertop
4) The store has not offered to bring the tiles back in the store so he could TRY to sell them
5) Please read all reviews and you will see that this business does NOT have «many costumers that are very happy our business ethics and our services»
As a summary, my one star rating stands. I am also quite surprised that Unilocal has allowed OWNER to rate his own services (five stars, of course) as this rating incorrectly raises overall average rating and misleads the readers

This is NOT a competitor. Needed some tiles for a large project for our homes. Sales guy that works on Saturdays is just plain AWFUL! Really a rude and disrespectful person. Yelled at us cross the store, «if we have a contractor? We said, «we do». No service or answer at all. We stood around for so long then walked out. We know the best contractors around, and will definitely let them know how we were treated. The products weren’t that great.
