Joan Horgan def gets 2 thumbs up from me. I have been seeing her for years, way before she had her new office on Waverly St., actually even before she had her own practice. She is gentle, friendly and always lets you know what is going on. I’d have to agree with negative comments of the «office manager.» She is very crass about the way she handles the billing (that’s the only reason I didn’t click 5 stars). I won’t let it stop me from seeing the best dentist in the suburban Boston area, but it is very unpleasant to deal with the lady that answers the phone and does the billing.

Dr. Horgan and her staff are wonderful and very accomodating. They are good with little and big kids, so it is well worth the drive and quirks from our insurance plans. Her billing is succinct, consistent, and timely, which is a problem with other medical service providers. Her modernized facilities make exams and treatment easy. We look forward to having our toddler son be one of her patients.

I can’t believe the reviews I’ve read about Dr Horgan stating how gentle and caring she is. It wasn’t the Dr Horgan I use to go too. I was seeing Dr Horgan for several years and always had an arrangement when paying my bill. Then she hired an office manager and then the harassment started which is against the law. I’m just curious as to what collection agency that pit bull came from that she hired. So if I was looking for a Dentist I would think twice before going to her.

Dr. Horgan is by far the best dentist you’ll find. Her skill at dentistry is superior. She recently opened her own practice in this new location. Her office is very modern and welcoming with all state of the art equipment. She has surrounded herself with a top notch group of administrative and clinical staff. If you are looking for a dentist in the Belmont area, your search is over!
