OK — I know it’s gone. I used to get my Kids WEBKINS and POKEMON cards there — friendly workers/​owners. More of a toy store than hobby per se. Sad to see a nice little store like this disappear.
This little review is more like a tribute to them.

After 26 years, Carlmont Toys is closed.
It’s sad to lose the small neighborhood toy store. I wish the owners well.

I have to agree with the other 2 reviews as far as what you can expect from the store,
But I wanted to add that their Thomas Trains are actually $ 1.00 dollar cheaper than Target and my on-​line favorite All aboard Toys, so this makes it a little more special.
And one time we were there the owner notice we were shopping for an special occasion and gave a FREE Thomas the train conductor hat to my son.
So this is our favorite store for Thomas Trains and gifts too!

I don’t have much to add to Jessica R.‘s review, only reaffirm it.
the store initially seems rather cluttered when you first enter, but its actually well thought out with a nice combination of things for little boys and little girls. Sure beats going to some mega-​store.
