It’s a Sunday afternoon and the Patriots are playing later that night. Both of my local to-go pizza joints are closed! I am quite disappointed and end up coming to Brother’s for my cheese pizza fix. I came here once before cut couldn’t remember if I liked it or not. Well, today’s visit confirmed to me that I don’t really care for the pizza here. First off, I’m not a big fan of Greek style pizza as I prefer Italian style much more. However, from time to time, certain Greek pizza shops make an amazing pie, and I can’t resist! Sadly, this was not the case at Brother’s. I ordered the pie to be lightly cooked, and it appeared that the chef was doing an excellent job of keeping an eye on my pie. Upon closer examination, in my dining room table at home, I found that while the underside of the pizza was cooked nicely, the cheese side was a lot more cooked than I would like. It had a signature look of a Greek pizza, where the cheese is slightly browned on top. What happens is that the cheese becomes more of a solid than something gooey. I like the look of Italian style where the pizza still looks white and is gooey. Greek is also more oily and filling, leaving me unable to eat dinner later this evening. I don’t think I will be coming back. If I want a Greek pizza, I’d rather go further down the street to Michael’s Pizza.

This place has been renovated and changed their name and the pizza isn’t your thick crusty Greek pizza anymore. They have a coal stove and make a nice crispy, thin pizza and the it tastes great! 2 slices and a soda for like $ 7.00 in Belmont is a deal. I have no idea who took over and who they let go, but the pizza is actually some of the best I have had. CONGRATULATIONONTHEMAKEOVER!

I typically enjoy Greek style pizza, but this was greasy to the point of being gross. I’m not sure what’s up with the cheese but it was somewhere between cardboard and slime. They’ve changed the name to compete with less expensive and more upscale pizza offerings, but it’s still the same place. Nothing has changed. And yes, the tables and chairs are greasy, too. Only positive was having a beer later to try to remove the entire experience from my mind.

My son loves this place, the rest of us are not so sure. The staff is always nice but I think the prices are high for what you get. We do enjoy dining in and consider this a go to stop if we are looking for a somewhat quick meal.

Who ever says this is the best pizza in the area must have grown up eating pizza on the island of Meepos with Balki Bartakamos. The pizza is kind of greasy, slathered with unnecessary cheese and doughy crust. Their eggplant parm. sub? Deep fried and gave me the«I need to run to the bathroom 5 minutes after eating it «feeling. The folks there are nice and I’d go back in a pinch because six months ago, I did have a pretty normal italian sub, but this is nothing, as the old folk say, to write home about.

Not sure why but the service at this place is lousy. The staff is rude and why I can’t figure. The foods not that bad but, I think, the service kills this place for me. When you call the sound like you’re bothering them by calling. I just think they need to brush up on the customer service.

I ordered a Greek salad, and while I was waiting for it, I had a slice of pizza. It was tasty, but the crust was limp and soggy. Still, tasty. But oh. I got back to work with my salad. LOTS of brown edged lettuce, not good at all! Also, I think my dressing was from the end of the bottle or jar or whatever, the little container was ¼ black pepper. And not the white Greek dressing, basically it was just a vinaigrette. At $ 8, the price was pretty steep for a brown-edged salad, and I was not happy. Also, I don’t know why everyone says the people are friendly! When I walked in I smiled at the cashier and asked her how she was, and her expression didn’t change. No smile, just«good thanks». Blank. Not friendly at all. I won’t be going back there.

The food is delicious but it tends to be expensive like $ 8 and change for a sandwich so if you are not looking to spend too much its probably best to go elsewhere. I live right down the street so its convenient for me and have always enjoyed going to Brother’s. My favorite is the chicken shish kebab and it comes with rice or vegetables.

By far the best pizza in the area! I come up a few times a year to visit family and we have been going here ever since I can remember. I love their pizza, which has a great crust, mild cheese with just enough salt and fresh, quality toppings. I am a huge fan of their vegetable pizza in particular, and all their other dishes are great too. Their meatball sub is one of the best I ever had, I love their appetizers, especially the chicken wings, mozzarella sticks and French fries, and they have amazing salads. Garden fresh vegetables every time. Their Greek salad has some really great texture with the crumbly, salty feta they use, and I love how it comes with pita bread and their signature homemade dressing. I can also agree that the place is very clean and has always had professional, friendly service. A great place to go for a casual bite to catch up with old friends, treat some family members to an affordable meal, or overall just hang out and enjoy the grub. And, yes, it’s a really classy touch for them to start serving beer on tap, which they change up seasonally. You can also find cans in the cooler along with individual-sized bottles of wine. Stop by for some pizza, a sub or a salad and you won’t be disappointed!

This place is nice for a local pizza shop, but the rest of the menu leaves a lot to be desired. I was debating whether to give 3 or 4 stars. I think if they were only pizza, subs & kabobs it would’ve gotten a 4. But I’ve tried two other meals here and been kind of disappointed. The place is very nice inside. It’s clean and the prints hanging around the place a very cool… Godfather, Stooges, Rat Pack, etc. done in caricatures. The counter’s nice and clean also, which is one of a couple things I usually notice in places like this. Plus they have a decent sized TV to catch the game while you wait or eat. I love the fact that you can get a beer(draft or bottle) or a glass of wine, if you’re like my girlfriend, here either with your meal or while you wait for your take-out. As I mentioned above, the pizza is decent, the kabobs are pretty good too. But I got pretty excited when I saw they served ribs(I’m a sucker for a good rack), but also that they deliver… Delivery ribs? Nice! Well, not so much… The portion was much smaller then«a rack,» even calling it a ½ a rack would be generous. The fries were cold and kind of soggy when they arrived. Basically I won’t be ordering it again, but that doesn’t make Brother’s a bad place or put it on my «do not go» list. I’m just going to stick to their pizza & beer.

Was in the area and needed to kill an hour or so. Wanted to find somewhere close for a small bite to eat and a drink. I used the Unilocal app on my phone trying to find something nearby but everything was miles away. Pure coincidence we drove by this place and saw the beer and wine sign. SOLD! We split an order of fried shrimp that came with fries. Typical fried food. Edible. But they had Blue Moon on tap. YEAH! We ate slow to be able to get another drink. Doesn’t Belmont have silly rules of alcohol with food? Glad I live elsewhere. Those blue laws are so antiquated. Service is meh. People yelling in the back in a foreign language. It was all greek to me: p

Brothers Pizza is a nice neighborhood pizza place. Very clean, large menu, the food comes out pretty quick and the service is courteous. The crust is not too thick(not as thin as Upper crust) and baked just right. The steak and cheese sandwich needed a bit more cheese and seasoning.

Brother’s is an excellent neighborhood joint, but their pizza is not the reason for the great review. More importantly, their subs(toasted!) and salads are excellent, as well as their dinners. The place is clean, service is great. It’s a perfect place to take kids for a casual dinner; very kid friendly, lots of kiddie foods on the menu, and frazzled parents looking for a break can order from their wines and beers.

This place gets 5 stars simply because of their killer eggplant parm. Oh, and try their french fries — their size small gives you about enough french fries to fill your trunk and glove compartment. It’s not a place that I’d stop at on the way to yoga, but if you’re looking for a simple pizza joint with great greasy food, you’ve got it!

This place is OK– I give it 3 stars because it is clean and they are friendly. Pizza is just ok — nothing great and the sauce is not very great. Gyro is made with that all too common here in New England mystery sausage patty stuff. Some nice Draft beers for around 4 $ Fast delivery as well. I would go here over most Pizza joints here in Belmont but that doesn’t say much. They need to step-up and make at least one GREAT item, not a whole lot of just OK items.

If you do not enjoy Greek style pizza, than please, don’t bother reviewing it. Being a pizza connoisseur Myself I can safely say this is the best Greek style pizza in the area. Service is always fantastic, delivery is always fast, and the steak tips are their best kept secret. I’m also a huge fan of their Greek salads which tops Greg’s(in Belmont Center) easily. It could be a little cheaper but than again I’ve been going there since I was a young kid and it has always been reasonable.

This place was a standard takeout place for my family for a while because it was local and delivered and my kids didn’t care about the quality. There’s nothing terrible about it, just nothing special. Despite all our misgivings about doing so, we’ve been leaning towards Domino’s over Brother’s on takeout night these days. Their menu is large, apparently, but nothing I’ve had there over the years stands out as particularly tasty. There’s a time and a place for these semi-sit-down restaurants we have around here, I guess. I can imagine a lot of places I’d rather go if I was going to drink a beer and watch a sporting event. Paper napkins and greasy paper plates I can get anywhere.

Decided to try it because it is within walking distance from my apartment. The place was very clean and the woman who took our order was extremely friendly. I got a grilled chicken salad which was tasty and my BF got the Whitey pizza. I had a bite and it was very flavorful. It’s more of a takeout than a sit down, but they had fresh flowers on all of the tables and you can get a beer in a frosty mug or a glass of wine.

Brothers can make a good sub sand-which. They have many to choose from and actually have several variations of a veggie sub, which I really like. They heap it full of toppings and the price is really good for what you get. I like their pizza too. They are cheesy, loaded with toppings, and I like the sauce they use. This is a nice place to eat in or order delivery. I work in Belmont and this place is one of the few that deliver, so this is a big plus for me!
