It’s a shame. The place has some great merchandise and cute gift ideas. However customer service was horrible. Sales person was too busy on the computer to look up. She seemed bothered when I asked her for a question. There were a couple of things I wanted to buy but decided to walk across the steet instead where the service was good and personable and I left with fun presents.

This place sucks, nothing positive to say about the owner or the employees… Shady at the very least, snobby is the only word for them. Good luck with your overpriced piece of junk they sell you.

Great store to pop into for gifts or to order custom invitations or even just the simple occasion card! I definitely love a lot of things in this store, but just wouldn’t go here to get it all :) They have some dog items :) which I love all of them for my Jack! And then there are some selections of jewelry mostly from Fornash from what I can tell. They have some keychains from Smathers and Branson with the custom 2478 ;) and then nice Boston embroidered pillows. The owner is quite pleasant and friendly along with the custom invitation designer! All of the custom designs are so cute and creative. I might make a visit soon for gifts to give! :)

My fiancée and I visited Bells and Whistles last fall after getting frustrated with limited options for custom stationary in the Boston area. We were hoping to create custom wedding invitations and did not have luck with the paper stores that we visited. Luckily we found Danielle at Bells and Whistles just after they opened last November. She was able to sit down with us and understand our vision for the invitations. Several months later, after our invitations have been sent out, we couldn’t be happier with the results. Danielle was a pleasure to work with and she really took our idea and made it so much better than we originally imagined. She has a unique design talent and offers a great customer service experience. Her design fee was very reasonable for the amount of work that she puts into each product. The shop is also full of excellent gift ideas and is worth a visit.

Love, love, LOVE this store!!! So much so that I’ve been there twice in the past 2 weeks! A friend had suggested I check out Bells & Whistles as she knew I was shopping for a one-of-a-kind birthday gift, and because she knows that I’m always on the hunt for unique items for my home. I do prefer boutique shopping over the mass marketplaces/chain stores, but typically this comes with jacked-up prices so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the amazing selection AND reasonable prices! My 2 trips there resulted in purchases of: a glass piggy bank(for my $ 5 Fun Fund!), a funky turquoise & purple octopus printed cuff bracelet, a monogrammed lucite tray, a butter dish, and a few cards. Score! Yes, it was all for ME. Except for the cards. Please note that I did return to get a 2nd piggy bank for my cousin :) And, I’ll be back! I have my eye on a few batik throw pillows(in various shades of blues, pinks and white) for my bedroom. I asked the friendly sales woman(who turned out to be the owner) if the pillows were popular/best sellers. Bad news: they’re hard to keep in stock. Good news: she showed me the vendor’s catalog and offered to custom order any pillows I was interested in. This could be dangerous! All in all, I found Bells & Whistles to be a very pleasant shop offering a wonderful selection of beautifully displayed items… SO worth the trip to Belmont!

This store fits right in to Belmont Center. Cute & bright with some unique offerings. Many household items such as soaps, candles, kitchen & bar wares. They also carry cards and baby gifts. Prices are in range with other offerings in the area. Definitely a cute place to pop into, you never know what treasures you’ll find.
