Wow, was I impressed! I’m from Hawaii and finding something simple as sticky rice AND not paying an arm and a leg for it was very difficult. We like to get long grain sweet rice, which my husband has perfected cooking on the stove. They have several kinds to fit your fancy.
There are so many goodies to choose from. If you are not familiar with what you need or what certain items are for, just ask the owners Nong and Vi. You will be making tasty Phở in no time.
The prices are great! I love coming here because I able to make many of my comfort foods.

Awesome place to find all your Thai and Laotian food items.
I’m new to Charlotte having just migrated here from Honolulu. My wife and I love Thai food, especially the simple things like sticky rice. Unfortunately, We searched all over Charlotte, but finding a traditional/​authentic sticky rice is not as easy as you’d think. I had to travel all the way out to the Super G to buy Sweet rice to make sticky rice unless I wanted to pay out the nose at what they ostensibly claim are Thai restaurants around here. Was not fun.
Then, I found Asian Market in Belmont. This place has it all. They have all your rice needs; spices; and everything else you need to make traditional dishes. I absolutely love the owners too.
So, if you have a hankering for authentic Thai and Laotian staples at Über inexpensive prices, you need to check out Asian Market. Great selection.
