Always liked their pizza so I stopped in today to take out lunch.
I ordered The Chicken Club hero & was told it would be 12 minutes.
Over 25 minutes later it finally came out (btw the place was empty).
when I got home my chicken club was a chicken parm. WTF
The staff were on their cell phones the whole time I was there. Maybe a little less texting would have got my order right.
FYI: it wasnt even good after all this. I am a lost customer
next time i go to Umbertos, it
is in walking distance

Just a note: I’ve since had gnocchi marinara (or maybe bolognese?), and it was mighty yummy. Substantial portion, gnocchi that were chewy, but not leaden, and a balanced sauce. I’ll return!

i’m sorry but i think they have terrible pizza, the sauce is on the sweet side which i think is odd. thank god they have an umberto’s opening across the street so at least bellmore will have some good pizza.

Awesome pizza. Meatballs & Sausage are about perfect. The pizza itself is great — the crust is fantastic. I’d give it 5 stars but the pie is not a standard 18″ which seems like a ripoff to me.

Darn good. Just a bit shy of awesome. White pizza could have used a bit more garlic. Pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe could have used just a touch less. Arugula with goat cheese salad was perfect except for unneeded light-​red-​colored-​plastic-​wedge-​posing-​as-​a-​tomato. But who’s complaining … this place is great, and I sure hope to be back.

Pasquales opened a few months ago in the location of the former Brooklyn Pizzeria on Bedford Avenue next to the Bellmore Playhouse Theater. The service is very good as the owners are eager to please. My wife and I tried the lasagna and meatball parm hero — both of which were very good. The prices are very reasonable and they have been running some good specials/​coupons in the local papers for great discounts. I have also ordered pizza from them on several occassions and it has always been delicious. An excellent balance of sauce and cheese on a nice thin crispy crust! A great new addition to Bellmore.
