Been to this place on 3 different occasions, so I’ve had their ravioli, pizza and calzones. Each time, the food just isn’t all that great… especially the ravioli. Bland generic ravioli(that I’m pretty darn sure were purchased from cash and carry), boiled then tossed with flavorless sauce :/I’m not sure if the line cook didn’t give it enough time to drain or what but by the time it got to my table, the sauce was sitting in a small pool of water. The service is great each time and it’s convenient for SV residents but just not really worth it when I can whip something better from my own kitchen

Was in Bellingham for the weekend. Can’t resist a local pasta and pizza place. Got salads and za and it was tooooo good. Great vibe. Played the pinball machine and it even had a free credit in it. Popped in to the market next door for ice cream after super homey and convenient. Best strip mall in the sudden valley. We were here with a large party of 7 and they were friendly and we had great service. Would recommend.

I’m a fan of their all-you-can-eat Pasta Tuesdays. Staff is always very attentive and cheerful. Parking is a breeze. I know the dough is fresh and the salads are fresh, but I think everything else is probably from a can. Tino’s is just what we have living in Sudden Valley. I would never drive out of my way to eat here, but drive five minutes and not have to make dinner… ok.

Oooh, the calzones! Great crust, great fillings. My one complaint? Waaaay to much sauce. But that can easily be remedied by ordering it with light sauce, otherwise these babies are perfection. It’s a long haul out to Tino’s, but worth it. It’s a little divey and dark, but you are pretty much guaranteed to have a great meal. We drive all the way out there from Lummi Island JUST for the calzones. HOWEVER, I would like to say that when I am dining in a restaurant, I expect the wait staff to not be wearing flip-flops while serving the food. Even if it is a family business, there are health codes, and I can’t think of anything more unsafe than flip-flops in a commercial kitchen. I’ve worked as a waitress before, and if I had a dime for every time I almost lost a toe or burned my foot because I(or someone else) dropped something… Note for Disabled: Very accessible, has its own parking lot.

I’ve had everything from the calzone to the pizza and the pasta. Haven’t been disappointed yet. The only things to keep in mind is that if we are having one of those rare hot days it can be hot inside the place. At peak hours it can also become a bit loud. Nothing that makes me stay away from there but I thought it was worth noting for others.

Our options for food that’s close by in the Valley are limited but I’m happy that this place is here because I actually like the food a lot. I grew up in Northern NJ and can sniff out crappy Italian food like a bloodhound(I’m looking at you, Olive Garden). That said, the minute I walked in here, I knew from the smell that it would be good. The pizza, while not true NY style, is quite tasty! It’s not overdone or too crunchy and if you tell them to go easy on the sauce it’s perfect. Also had the pasta, salads, spaghetti, meatball sandwich, the Caesar salad, and the cheesy bread. All delicious. They have a chicken wing appetizer which is tasty as well. They will deliver but only after 5 and it takes a while to get your food so you are generally better off picking up your order. I much prefer Tino’s to El Agave down at the clubhouse any day. Nice folks, too. Stop in and give them a try!

We love this place and have fast become regulars since moving to Sudden Vally. The pizza is fantastic! The dine in special prices can’t be beat and the staff is outstanding. They are always friendly and attentive, and they look like they are really enjoying their work. They do everything they can to ensure that you are having a great experience(I don’t think I have ever heard the word«no’ come out of their mouths for any request we have had. They are great with kids. Tino’s is a casual spot to unwind with the family or friends and you always can ensure that you leave there satisfied in every sense of the word.

What makes this place so popular is the location. The pizza is good– very good. But the pasta is so so and the prices can be high… regardless we spent many nights at Tinos while down at the lake and would recommend it.

If there has to be only one pizza joint within 5 miles of Sudden Valley, then I’m glad it’s this one. We really enjoy their food. We’ve had delivery several times, gone to pick up food many times, and have eaten there. Almost everything has been great. While the onion soup was magnificent, a couple of pasta dishes were just so-so. All in all, thank goodness for Tino’s! BTW, it’s now getting a little competition from the Bob’s Chowder menu in the Sudden Valley Market.

We love this place! The pizza is lovely, hand tossed and the white sauce is great. Lasagne and ravioli are both winners, tons of cheese and good portion sizes. My favorite though is the pasta D’Onofrio, get it with the cheesy French onion soup and just-right garlic bread.

I just bought a new home in Sudden Valley and we have eaten here at least 7 times in the last 2 weeks… I know horrible! The food is amazing. They actually listen when you ask for modifications. Staff is very friendly as well.

We ate here with relatives who live & work in Sudden Valley. From all appearances, it seems like the typical pizza place; but the food is quite good. Service was very friendly and prompt. The sausage lasagne was excellent as was the pasta dish my wife ordered. We were told that the pizza was good too. They serve wine & beer and the ‘house’ wine was relatively inexpensive. We don’t drink beer but they had a good selection of beers, too. Not a fancy place, pretty much ‘down home’; but you will be pleasently suprised by their food and friendliness.

Tino’s is a place we discovered after moving to Sudden Valley. We were pleasently suprised when we first gave it a try. Now we’re regulars. Very friendly staff and we’re always greated as soon as we walk through the door. My wife gets the fettuccine alfredo with light sauce and this is the only place that ever gets it right and tastes amazing. delivery is great too… in fact… I’m going to do that right now… mmmmm tinos pizza…

Pizza was bland. Nothing special… bland sauce, skimpy toppings and tough crust. I’ve tried their pizza a few times over the past 8 years and each time I tell myself never again but end up trying just one more time and again being disappointed. If you can get pizza somewhere else… do yourself a favor.

I have ordered calzones, pastas, and salads from here several times. All have been good. Delivery times are decent, and prices are reasonable. I recommend.

Further south than the address that is shown. Just keep heading south through Sudden Valley and you will see it on the west side of the road in a strip mall. Service was quick and pizza was good. Not sure it was worth the detour though.

Tino’s is proof that you need competition in order to innovate. Because its the only viable restaurant in Sudden Valley(the Bob’s in SV sucks too BTW), they are content with delivering sub-standard Italian grub. I’ve been here so many times because its the only thing open at night and it is consistently mediocre, bordering on poor. It drives me crazy that in order to avoid Tino’s, I would have to drive 15 minutes on a windy deer-infested road into town. So let me tell you, my one-star rating is not from a single bad visit but instead from numerous disappointments. Next time I’m in this situation I’m just going to eat some grass in my backyard or try to cap one of the neighborhood deers to harvest some venison.

OK, so these guys in the past year or so have definitely made some changes to their menu: Now it seems they have pretty skimpy pickins on the toppings AND super light on their sauces now. And also they’ve totally shaved down the killer bubbly crust to now what seems like HALF of what it used to be, so now a regular pizza is more like a skinny or flatbread crust. (Don’t get me wrong… it still tastes good — it’s just a little light on all the goodies that usually get heaped on a pizza.) But I will say that the one good thing they still got going is the pizza crust is still homemade and made with tons of amazing spices you can literally see all the way through the crust(super yummy!) So just check this place out for yourself if you’re out in the Valley and don’t want to cook… it beats a Frescetta Pizza anyday!

Very good pizza and calzones here. Old school homemade dough, good cheese, and great toppings. It’s prob worth the 8 mile drive to Sudden Valley. Just dont get too excited about the actual restaurant, its in a strip mall and very 1982 in feeling.
