This is hands down my favorite taco truck in town. It’s one of the cheapest for a torpedo-sized burrito($ 5.50), they’re the fastest(Record time: a minute thirty), and very close to the best tasting. If you’re looking for the quickest and best bang for you buck, look no further. The staff’s great, too.

I come down and grab a veggie burrito whenever I can. It’s only $ 4.50 and it is so flavorful and enormous! If you haven’t stopped here, you got to and make a habit of it! Amazingly fast and authentic.

Tacos el Tule is consistently some of my favorite Mexican food in town. I was introduced by friends when I moved to Bellingham. My favorites include the tule taco platter, tule chicken burrito or the veggie salad(I add chicken for a protein boost). Most I’ve ever spent is $ 5 so it’s a great price for lunch and dinner. PROS: Great price Delicious food Convenient downtown location CONS: Charges an extra $ 0.50 for card transactions so use cash Only around until 6pm so dinner availability is limited

I would rate this taco truck consistently high on their street tacos. This is one of my go-to lunch spots when I am downtown. Very inexpensive and delicious.

I was extremely reluctant to eat food from a truck, but places like this are the reason food trucks are popular! I’ve now eaten almost everything on the menu and never had a disappointment. I don’t eat pork, but their chicken and beef are really high-quality meat – not at all what i’m used to from inexpensive Mexican cuisine. There are vegetarian options as well(though i’m not sure about vegan); the veggie burrito is like holding a small brick, and they’re generous with the avocado. I can’t even think of another place in Bellingham where you can fill your stomach for $ 5.(A large chicken tortilla soup is 2 – 3 meals for me). Sometimes there’s a short line, but i’ve never waited more than five minutes, and the family who runs it are friendly, courteous, and always remember me. This is honestly better Mexican food than what i’ve had in many restaurants. Try it!

Outrageously great location, and so affordable. This has gotta be the best«fullness per dollar spent» ratio in Bham, and for me that matters a lot. I thought the burrito was great(and it’s huge), but I’m from Pennsylvania so what do I know? Never change, el Tule, never change.

I will say, this is by no means the greatest Mexican out there… but what it is, is CHEAP, quick, with decent Mexican flavors. I can get a huge burrito for $ 4 that easily counts for 2 meals. The tamales are pretty good, however the masa is a bit too dense. The rice and chicken I feel lacks in flavor. I’m not sure how they braise their chicken but the mushy peas, chunks of potato and hints of tomato sauce make me believe it’s cooked in some sort of Campbell’s product… not very tasty. But overall it fits the bill for an economic lunch that’s fast and fresh… and cheap!!! Only advice would be to ht the truck before the noon rush of Logos employees… you could end up waiting a while to get your food when groups show up for lunch!

This is the most affordable mexican food i’ve ever bought. They hot sauces weak as hell tho, and they got like 4000 flavours.

Seriously, what more could you ask from a taco truck? * Awesome location near the courthouse, Post Office, Public Library, my workplace and the Whatcom Museum * Typically cheap and awesome taco truck prices: a regular burrito for $ 4, a huge one for $ 5 * Variety of meat options, including al pastor. * Cans and bottles of coca cola! * photos of all the foods, to prove the servings are large

I’ve only been in Bellingham 2 months, but this is the first good taco I’ve had. I stopped by here and had two tacos el pastor. Tasty, tender, juicy, just the right amount of hot(maybe a little too much, but I’m a pussy). I’ll be back.

I lived in Mexico for a couple years and am delighted that the kind, friendly Oaxacan family who operates Tule has located their taco truck in downtown Bellingham. Their authentic, inexpensive, excellent tacos are equal to(if not better than) the great street-side tacos I once enjoyed in el DF(Mexico City) and Oaxaca. Burritos are not originally Mexican(USA southwest/Calif) but Tule makes a burrito that puts all others to shame. Great fresh ingredients, perfect balance of texture and flavor, gigantic! …and topped off with their incredibly flavorful salsas.(Both the red and green are excellent.) All served quickly, and with smiles all around. Thank you Tule family, for being here! Muchisimas gracias!

I am giving this taco truck 5 stars because it is just so easy, good, cheap and friendly. Everything a taco truck should be. There are no pretenses with this little gem… just tasty, filling food at a more-than-fair price. I like those kind of places… this is one of them.

Tacos el Tule is everything that is right with a taco truck. The happiest and nicest owners you’ll ever meet, fantastic food, the best fresh tamales in Bellingham(when they have them), and cheap. The Tule Burrito and Tule tacos are excellent. Highly recommended.
