Best teriyaki in town. Have gone here many times. Customer service brings it down to three stars. Building is divey but it’s not a huge deal.
I called in my order today and they gave my order away before I got there, so I had to wait for another one to be made. Stood at register for 3 – 4 minutes waiting to pick my food before hand as owner did something else in the kitchen.
I usually get the spicy teriyaki and it’s amazing. I got the chicken katsu after reading all the reviews and was sort of disappointed. Sauce was very heavy and overpowering, chicken was cooked good though.
Overall good eats, but not the place for killer service.

If you want the best teriyaki in town then head over here because this family owned spot is definitely a hit. I always get the chicken katsu cuz their sauce is the boss. Literally the only place in Bellingham I get my teriyaki, trust me, all the other restaurants are kinda just too plain Jane for me. Now, don’t expect the dining environment to be fancy or to have great customer service. The owner doesn’t mess around and likes to do things his own way. It’s definitely a hole in the wall type of deal but don’t be scared off by that. Visitors this is the spot!

Don’t know why it’s a burger place but their teriyaki is pretty good! Theirs chicken katsu is filling and not that expensive! It’s a nice little place. Their service is fast too if you order it to go.

Run down looking restaurant which is located on exit 252. At the first glance I noticed Super Duper is owned by Korean lady. I found it odd that SD both sells burgers and teriyaki according to the name. Oh well.
The price is good, inexpensive and portion is definetely filling. I got Chicken Teriyaki (lunch special) for $ 5.99 which comes with meat, rice, salad and Miso soup. My buddy P and I were hungry after border shopping and SD was perfect for cheap eats. Salad was fresh and crispy. However meat was so dry. They were mixed with dry and okay ones. I didn’t finish eating chicken in the end.
This resto is self-​serve and you pre-​pay after ordering.
I felt clueless about tipping while waiting for food. All these positive reviews were disappointing. Just cheap satisfying food to filll tummy. Salad dressing and sauce were definetely yummy. I didn’t find it «Super Duper» amazing, sorry.

I haven’t had their burgers yet, but the teriyaki is devine! If I’m craving teriyaki, I go here without a doubt.
The inside is small and has a bit of seating with a TV usually playing the current sportsball stuff.
I usually take mine to go — you can call ahead to place an order so you don’t have to wait in a long line. :)
Go try it, it’s my favorite teriyaki!

Honestly it’s the best place for Katsu. There special 3 is the only thing I get and lots of students get. You get so much for 10 bucks. Plus free miso. Very delicious

Best teriyaki I’ve ever tasted!!! And the short ribs are amazing! Also, very reasonable prices. Everytime I come here it never disappoints me. Plus free soup! Never have tried the burgers but I am looking forward to try them out.

Best chicken katsu I have ever tasted in my life! It’s located close to WWU and on the way to Fairhaven, so very convenient for me. There’s not too many seats but you can easily bring it home. The chicken is fried to perfection and the sauce is literally to die for. I’m not sure what’s in it but I am addicted to it!
I would give the chicken katsu itself five stars, but overall experience would bring my rating down to four. The place looks worn down and customer service was alright. The pricing is decent. But I’ll definitely try to get something here whenever I visit Bellingham again!
If possible, try to call the restaurant ahead of time to place your order. I’ve heard that they can run out of katsu for the day.

I’m from Hawai’i and I’ve been living in Washington for the past three years. I never thought I’d find a katsu sauce as good as the ones back home. After trying sauces that seemed to have cinnamon and other favors that just do not belong in katsu sauce, I was ready to call it quits on the katsu hunt and only eat it when I visit home. That was until I tried Super Duper’s chicken katsu. The sauce is truly amazing and the katsu is crispy but not oily. Honestly the best katsu I’ve ever had, and I did not expect to find it outside of Hawai’i.

It’s sweet and tangy and delicious.
Owners are rude, but I could care less with chicken katsu like that.

So I have eaten here about 15 times since the last change in owners. It was only 2 blocks from my old house so that helps. They do have solid food good potions and they get it to you fast. They place is not very clean out front and the old couple are pretty worn out by the industry. I still go there as the food is good and they make it fresh every time.

Super duper is best known for their chicken katsu. Since coming here for their katsu, I genuinely can not eat katsu anywhere else. Katsu + Kalbi Short Rib combo is what i usually get. Great deals– Free miso, meal comes with salad, and the portions are huge.

Yum! Good chicken breast teriyaki ($ 10) and beef teriyaki (lunch special $ 8). Your typical hole in the wall teriyaki joint, not fabulous but not bad either. Definitely one of the better ones in Bellingham. Specify if you’re eating in or taking out upon ordering.

I ordered two orders of their chicken teriyaki and also an order of vegetable yaki soba.
The chicken teriyaki was ok and the sauce was good but it seemed dry and didn’t have very much sauce (and they don’t pack much extra sauce in the to go box).
The yaki soba on the other hand was pretty bad. It was like 85% vegetables and 15% noodles. Flavor wasn’t very good and the vegetables were way over cooked and mushy.
Price was good and the portions are large. Overall if I came here again I’d just get the chicken teriyaki and I’d ask for extra sauce on it.

I normally only order the chicken katsu so that is what my rating is for. Hands down the best katsu I’ve had in Bellingham. The katsu sauce is slightly different than what I’ve had before but its different in an amazing way. its super creamy with just the right amount of tang and I love that it finds its way into the rice underneath as it is so delicious!
