Dr. Vander Giessen and all the staff here make going to the dentist an enjoyable experience. Everyone is so comforting and sincere in their care for the patients that any anxiety you may have instantly dissipates once you arrive. I am a very needy patient; I get stressed out easily, certain dental procedures make me panic, etc. They are so understanding of how I feel and they make sure to find alternatives to the routines that make me uncomfortable. The phrase, «the only thing worse than going to the dentist is not going to the dentist» could not be more true, however, coming to Dr. Vander Giessen will make going to the dentist a biannual routine that won’t elicit feelings of horror.

A neighbor recommended this dental office when I moved to Bellingham last year. I have been very pleased with the staff and the services. Dr. Vander Giessen is professional, pleasant, easy to talk with, listens to my concerns, and all the work has been done well. Cindy, the front desk receptionist, is a gem. She’s always warm, welcoming, and quickly answers any questions I have. It’s a great dental office that really seem to care about their clients.
