I was a needy customer, and I was treated well by Von(spelling?). Would recommend him to anyone looking for a friendly salesman that isn’t pushy. My review is only for grills. Pros? –Clean environment –Assemble for free –Easy to exchange or return(I upgraded twice, and wasn’t given a hassle) –Weber’s are sold at the minimum required sale price for Weber, not further marked up Cons? –Selection variable –Some staff, from brief interactions, I would not recommend

I went in looking to buy a refrigerator for my rental(the one I had died and I needed a new one asap). I went in and no one was really interested in helping me after I said it was for a rental and I didn’t want anything high-end. I know I wasn’t there to spend a ton of money, but I felt like they only cared about commission and I wasn’t buying enough stuff for them to care. I ended up going elsewhere to get what I needed. The show room was nice and was clean. That was the only thing I can say about Judd and Black that is positive.

Walked into their show room and no one seemed interested in helping me. I wondered around for about 10 min and no one came up to me. I will NEVER go back there again. Horrible customer service, I will shop local from now on and not go there again.

My experience with Judd & Black has been a mixed bag. I recently bought a new double oven from Judd & Black. I had corresponded with one of their sales people — who was quite knowledgeable and professional — regarding this purchase and was told I could either order it on the phone using a credit card or in person at the store. I opted to go in to the store. I waited 30 minutes for help and finally someone said they’d write up the order since the salesman that I’d spoken to was busy. It was then I learned that the oven was on backorder; it would be nearly a month before my new oven could be installed. I made the purchase anyway and waited the month. The installation went beautifully. Their installation crew is top notch and really did a nice job on altering my existing cabinetry to fit the new, larger ovens. It was a bit pricey, but they did do quite a bit of work and they did quality work so in the long run it was worth it. A couple of weeks later I decided to purchase a freezer that I’d seen in their showroom. With credit card in hand, I phoned them up to place the order. I explained to the person who answered that I wanted to purchase a freezer and was told that all sales people were busy and I could expect a call back. Two days later I decided that they didn’t care about making the sale so I went to another appliance store to purchase a similar freezer. I’m in the process of slowly remodelling my kitchen and had anticipated buying everything from Judd & Black. After this last experience, however, I am more inclined to purchase the cooktop, hood, and dishwasher elsewhere.
