This is a cozy winery located up a neighborhood-y hill in the Whatcom area. When I arrived, there was a sign on the door saying to call or honk for service; kind of different from most wineries I am used to, but it was fine! The dogs present at the house alerted the wine guy to my arrival, so no calling/honking necessary. The tasting room, located in a garage, was great — and had a good view of future wine-to-be, fermenting happily in big vats. The tasting and the wines are very reasonably priced and I really enjoyed the red varieties. I think it will change year to year as grape varietals from WA vary; this visit there was only a Resiling to try from the white family. I would definitely recommend this as a stop along your northern WA wine tour!
