Amazing. After leaving a lackluster evening a Scotty Browns, stopped over at bbb. Excellent service!

Bob’s Burgers & Brew. Need I say more? It’s a sit-down, burger restaurant. Oh yeah, and they have several beers on tap. I usually come here for lunch with friends and we generally grab a booth in the main restaurant, but there is a side room with a bar and televisions displaying the latest sports event. Obviously they have a variety of burgers, but you also have a choice of sandwiches and salads. No matter what you order, you’re going to need to bring your appetite; either that, or a friend to share, or a doggie bag. The portions are H U G E! My friend’s burger came with a side. She chose the potato salad, but asked to have it wrapped«to go» in advance. Who has room for the side when you can barely finish the entrée? I’m pretty sure that container of potato salad weighed a pound(and probably will put that much weight on your hips too). I opted for the mountain of fries as my side, but they actually dominated my plate and were creeping onto the table like a game of pick up sticks. Buried beneath was my turkey melt. It was a double decker of salty meat. I really wish I had ordered one of the salads. Eating one here pretty much ensures you will meet your daily requirement of 5 vegetable servings. Service is okay. The wait staff are nice and try to be on task, but they all appear to be college gals with greater ambitions than slopping food for a living. Will I be back? Probably, but only because my friends will drag me here for lunch. The good news is that I’ll be able to skip dinner, and I’ll have leftovers for the next day.

I’ll just make this short, I love bob’s burgers just not this one. The service was god offal, the food was not good at all. I have given them chance after chance but they still seem do disappoint me. So i will not return to this Bob’s.

Bobs is one of those foundations of Whatcom county. This Bobs has the typical menu as others. The location is convenient for lunch if you work in the Barkley Village area. Service is good, and the food is good. My favorite burger is the Double Dutch, which is a hamburger with a curled up hotdog on it. What a great combo. You get a great choice of alternatives if you don’t want fries, you can get potato salad, Jo Jos, soup, or a salad. I will certainly go back.

I’m normally a big Bob’s burgers fan but this one(Barkley village) just didn’t do it for me. It wasn’t that busy at all when we went but the service was still slow. It took forever for our waters to get filled. When we finally got our food the burgers and fries were Luke warm. tasted like they had been sitting out for awhile. Once again, when we got our food we barely saw our waitress and our waters never got filled till we were done. It was very disappointing.

Bogs burger is the perfect place for the entire family. Besides having an amazing happy hour, their burgers and drinks are fair prices and extremely delicious! The entire upstairs is the bar seating which makes it completely easy to find somewhere to sit. Downstairs is the main seating so their is a big separation between the casual drinkers and the families. The separation is nice, especially if you have kids. The ambiance is very relaxed and extremely large windows allow the room to feel very open.

Up until this visit at this Bob’s location, I have not been a big fan of the«gourmet» burger concept. I like a juicy burger that is cooked to my liking, slight pink in the middle. To be on the safe side, typical burger places serve well done hockey pucks or in my opinion, overcooked. I ordered mine cooked medium and it was served perfect. Juicy meat, crispy lettuce, sweet tomatoes and loads of sliced fresh jalapenos(not pickled), topped with pepper-jack cheese. I opted for onion rings instead of boring french fries and the large portion of tasty buttermilk coated rings were incredible! My mother would be proud as I cleaned my plate! Great food, attentive friendly server and bottomless glass of ice tea. Call this visit«extremely satisfying»

I had been craving a burger for a few days. I looked for a good burger joint on Unilocal and bobs seemed pretty good. Well I am currently sitting in the restaurant and am underwhelmed. Is the food great? No. Is the food horrible? No. It’s just kinda meh. They did not ask how I wanted my burger cooked which should have tipped me off. The patties tasted like they had been frozen. Potato salad was good. I prefer mine to be in chunks rather than shredded but that’s just a preference. Service was slower than I thought it should be. There are only 3 active tables currently and it took forever to get my food. I guess my overall experience was ok. I will not be coming back. It’s a typical chain restaurant. Could be better.

I’m not from the region so this was the first time I had ever heard of or gone to a Bob’s burger and brew. It was delicious! I had the guacamole burger with bacon — amazing! And their fries were good, almost too good! Just be prepared to eat if you come here, as the portion sizes are very large.

Walls with food from previous customers food on them, tables not properly cleaned(turns blue from water mixing with the chemicals). Floors with left over food. Takes a long time to get the food.

I dig that this place is a homegrown restaurant that is now just starting to expand. The prices are a bit overpriced though and that bums me out. I know that the food is always made from good ingredients but I think it is starting to cater to a more wealthy clientele. College students can only afford this place when it’s happy hour or there is a coupon. There are ALWAYS coupons to be found and I think that’s rad. Also, they give free meals to Veterans on Veterans day and you have to support that!

Pretty good. :) The burgers are HUGE and you get loads of fries(or jojos, I prefer them.) Upstairs the bar is pretty nice. You can get a variety of drinks and go on a night when it isn’t super crowded, to get pretty decent service.

If you are craving a burger or a laid back joint to hang with friends, Bob’s your place. They have every single type of burger imaginable — Hawaiian(with pineapple with ham), spicy(with jalapenos and pepper jack cheese), BBQ(with BBQ sauce and fried onions). You can choose either chicken, beef, or garden burger. The burgers are tasty and big. Adding grilled onions is free and every burger includes your choice of salad, soup of the day, or jojo fries. Almost all of the burgers are under $ 12. Other tasty things at Bob’s include their sizable and fresh salads. A lot of their signature cocktails are too sweet for my taste, so I stick to their beers. The service is OK. Most of the waitstaff are college kids, so you have to be patient and expect some delays when ordering and waiting for your food.

This a review after many, many a visit to this Bob’s. This is the closest thing we have to a «neighborhood place», just over a mile from home. But Bob’s has fallen down over the years. I used to like the décor(dark modern) with friendly service, reasonably good food, all for a reasonable price. But over the last 3 or 4 times I have visited, Bob’s has failed on all of these factors. The décor still looks nice… but I just don’t want to touch anything! Everything seems sticky! Yeuch. The condiments and the tables are particular«untouchable». Yes, I am a stickler for cleanliness, but not to a fanatical degree. I mean really, how hard is it to wipe down all the condiment holders to make sure they don’t stick to your hand when you set them down? I won’t even go to Bob’s for brunch anymore, going to the buffet to get your food is like dunking your hands in a vat of syrup. I have had the service problems in the past, too. The hosts and waitresses are nice to look at but don’t count on them remembering what order you arrived in and who should get what table next. We sat in the bar waiting for a table and were skipped by the next two parties that arrived after us. We paid for our beers and left. This last visit, just the other day, I had the first food that I would say was not up to par for Bob’s. Others here criticize the food pretty harshly. I won’t because I think Bob’s food is diner-type food. But the sandwich I had recently was not good. The croissant was old, hard, and over-warmed. The meat on the sandwich was excessive(enough for 2+ sandwiches) and the jo-jos were… meh…fair. I forget their jo-jos are simply baked potato wedges. Simple but not fantastic. I have always been a fan of Bob’s. With so many around Bellingham and Whatcom County, I have always enjoyed scoping out a different location for a reasonable meal. The most recent menu I saw boasted prices that were markedly higher than I remember. These are burgers and fries, folks. Over $ 10 seems excessive. So there you go… my review. Hey, I don’t feel good about it… but so it is. There’s more to a meal than hot wait staff. Sorry.

It’s Bob’s people. Here’s what to expect: Friendly service, huge burgers, excellent(read not oily) french fries and an overall pleasant dining experience. Tip: Be sure to check the Bob’s website before you leave to start your dining adventure as they usually have 2 for 1 coupons on the site that you can print out and bring in.
