They got my order wrong but fixed it right away!
The tacos were delicious. The hot sauce was hot, and the large horchata was LARGE. A+, two thumbs up, five stars!

1^st time back in a few years, I got the classic choice of an Asada burrito. It was average at most but wasn’t bad, tacos were cool but the highlight was there was the agua de piña…

I always eat here. It’s really good and I’ve never had a problem there until today. The girl «Lupita» taking my order completely got it all wrong. Then had the never to blame it on me, and even rolled her eyes. Excuse me your providing service to a customer just get it right. And if you don’t like your job then look else where. Too bad there was no number to reach a manager or even the owner. It’s really disappointing that customers who eat there all the time get treated badly and get served with attitudes. It really makes me think twice about going back even if the food is awesome, I don’t think I wanna go back and eat there. They don’t deserve my business.

Got a carnitas taco… disgusting! Huge lumps of fat and bland pork. Seriously? Didn’t your abuela teach you guys how to make carnitas??? :(

You have to understand this is REAL Mexican food. Not no taco bell stuff. If you’re use to the tripas, buche, and lenga type of spots this is the place ! They have a great salsa bar. A bathroom. And plenty of seats. I went on a Friday night for my first time and they had TAMBORAZO like a live group playing. How great is that !!!

Run away. Terrible carne asada. All veiny. Only one there. No customer service. Can people see me? This place always has tons of people. Why? Never going again.

Horrible. Asada is FULL OF FAT AND TASTE OLD! Tried to exchange my burrito after one bite and noticing fat AND oldest taste and they caused a HUGE scene! Do not eat here! This has happened multiple times!

First up i work right across the street from this place. Sometimes you just crave some authentic food, whether it be the corner burger or taco stand. Just went here a few days ago, my fav taco spot Taco Nazo had a line out the door. I havent been here in a few years but i remember it being pretty good. First the service was so so the girl that helped us seemed to not want to be there. We ordered 6 asada tacos & 1 asada burrito side of rice and beans, order didnt take to long to come out. The meat had so much fat on it my daughter told me not to ever bring her food from there, the best part of the meal was the grilled onions and the condiments off the salsa bar really tasty. Would i go here again, maybe but i would try something different i just HATE to bite down on fat so nasty.

Great food at time but depends on staff. Cetain time of the day the food quality is great but other time it taste dull and has no flavor. Overall good place to eat.

The food was good. What can I say, it was 11 PM, starving and ordered everything on the menu.

I had been driving past this place a few times since my boyfriend lives in the area, and I had always wanted to try it. Finally, we got the chance to. Since then, I’ve been more than a handful of times. The good is really good. Or at least I like to think. I think this has been one of my favorite mexican food spots lately. I always get the same thing though. EKKKKK!!! Maybe I’ll change it up next time. I always get a chicken burrito. Very flavorful. Very filling. I think my ONLY complaint has been the night my friend and I went for some burritos, he asked for some spicy in his, and he was tooooo excited to wait for me to start eating. I went to bite into my burrito, and I spit out my bite! AHHHHHH! Sooooo spicy. Yes, I’m a pansy for spice, sorry. But I wish they would clear up which burrito is which next time. However, my friend did buy me a burrito that satisfied my taste buds. SCORE!

UM WOW. One of the best late-​night discoveries in the past 2 months. DOLLAR TACOS ANDDDD there’s a salsa bar! Pretty hard to find something like this after 2AM unless it happens to be in your own kitchen… even then that’s probably highly unlikely. I’m more of an al pastor kinda girl but I got two additional carne asada just for shiggles. Both were pretty damn good… but I think the salsa bar is what really won me over and the fact that it was open until 3AM.

Meh. Nothing special. I ordered 2 lengua, 1 carne asada and 1 cabeza taco.
Nothing to note. They are as you’d expect.
The cabeza taco was probably my favorite.
Outdoor seating with flies all over. the hell? Nothing they could do about this though.
Again, meh. I’d come back if someone wanted to but if a buddy asked me for Mexican food in the area… I wouldn’t even remember this place.
They do accept credit cards — not very common in Mexican places!

Good tacos, cheap prices. I never took a bite of a taco only to follow up with, «Yuck, what the f@$k is this!», ha. Generally I’m pretty happy with my taco experience.
The tacos are a dollar, combo specials are around 4 – 5 bucks. They even have shrimp cocktail and fish tacos. Most of the time I stick to asada, pastor tacos, or however far my five bucks will take me. Being low on funds is the perfect reason to visit this place haha. Best thing about this Taqueria El Tio is the griiled onion and peppers they give you with your order.
If you’re in the mood for a late night meal after getting financially reamed by the bar/​club, this is your one stop shop.

their carne asada tacos are cheap and tasty… they have a full condiments bar that’s self serve so you can get whatever you want and as much as you want… lots of parking and they have lots of good meal deals to choose from… sad that they don’t have taquitos, sopes, and other stuff but the food they do have is good!!!

Taqueria El Tio is the name and slanging tacos is the game. Much like other taco spots beware of ordering any non taco item on the menu because it will probably taste bad. Any place that looks like another taco truck found a building to sell out of, isn’t built for a diverse menu. It’s built for making some tacos.
Taqueria El Tio is a great cheap eats taco spot. 92 cent tacos plus tax is $ 1– FYI its a cash only place just like a taco truck. Carne asada quesadilla feels like you’re eating a cheeseburger wrapped in a burrito instead of a bun. I like that sour cream comes with on the side. Carnitas torta has tender meat yet bland sauce. I’ve had better asada tortas elsewhere but I think I should have picked chicken. If you order a #4 they won’t remind you about the included drink if you forget to choose one.
My brother loves this place because the storefront includes a DVD guy and sometimes a random music guy who plays mariachi music from his car. The horchata is from a good mix but it doesn’t taste homemade. The beef taco is done right, with sauteed onions on the side.
