I love Stater Brothers… The meats are fresh and quality a great prices. I stop in for Ribeye or porterhouse steaks. Season for free, ready for cooking when I get home. Store is clean with variety of fresh produce and everything you need ;)

Used to love coming here for chicken. Came today and was given an attitude about when the chicken would be ready. They were boxing orders and didn’t know when chicken would be available. So rude. I asked should I come back an hour or two and was told no. I just don’t know when it’s gonna be ready to given out. Ummmm ok. Thank you very much. You’ve lost me forever. Happy Easter to you!

This Stater Bros is very nice and clean. The associates are happy to help you find something or answer a question. I was a little disappointed with their selection of organic produce, but I suppose not everyone is carrying a lot of it yet. Their meat department is fantastic. I will definitely be back because of that. However the shopping within which this store is located leaves a little to be desired. All-in-all, not a bad place to buy groceries.

As I was walking is the girl getting the carts didn’t smile, say hi, only a pissed off look. Then it gets worse. I get some crackers, go to the deli to get sliced cheese and meat. The worker was only wearing one glove why? I don’t know. She sliced the cheese then as she was asking what kind of meat I wanted she did a big cough into her ungloved hand and continued to pull the meat out and cut it. I looked for a manager but didn’t see one. I dropped everything at the register, told them why and left. I don’t think Jack would like his store ran this way.

I’ve been a customer there for the last 14 years at this store and many others but I have to say there customer service is great. If I find something wrong they fix it. Like the pricing. The Meat department is great, the Deli department is also and the Produce.

I like this stater bros location. It s big and the deli area is nice. They are so welcoming and proud of their food and work. They let you try free samples and decorate for the different holidays. I really enjoyed coming here. The area/people who come in here is a different story, but for the most part I like coming to this location.

If I could only leave no star I would. As I walk I noticed the security guard checking out the candy at the empty check out stand and looking at phone. Did not even bother to look up when I walked in or out. Waste of money for that labor. So I go to the back of store to grab some chicken on sale it was eight at night there was no chicken out we asked the meat counter if she had anymore she yeah but they are on the back and too heavy to carry out! And to come back tomorrow to grab some more. I asked her can she call for some help and she said no that dept was closing in five minutes. Ooh I’m sorry to hold u up! Imagine my surprise when I see on Unilocal they close at eleven! Sooo I go to artesia store and they have loads of the chicken and I was able to purchase with no issues or bothers and plenty of stock. Mgr of this store please remind your employees customer service is the basis of this business. Without that you would have nothing. I have family who has worked for staters for many years and this should have never happened.

This is my husbands and I regular grocery store that we shop at. I really like this location since they have everything I need for one stop shopping. A deli, bakery, meat counter and seafood counter. The workers are friendly for the most part. and if your real lucky a tweaker may make a cameo and make your shopping trip really interesting. Also, you may get haggled for change on the way in or out. But that’s just the area we live in. The store it self is nice, so I will continue to shop here.

Very courteous and helpful staff. The patrons at times may be a bit sketchy but that’s few and far between. Their shelves are well stocked and I always leave with everything I came in for… and then some. I understand they are switching their indoor ATM from Bank of America to Chase. Like there are not enough enough Chase locations already. If you want to save a little bit of dough, try buying their brand. The quality is just as good as a name brand and a whole lot cheaper. If you don’t like the unsavoriness of the location or the patrons that’s your deal but its a good store.

This review is for the Bellflower, Ca location. Store #164 Went for the first time yesterday. Will never go again. The store has plenty of beers and sodas and laundry detergent but hardly any actual groceries. The cashier I got Yolanda T didn’t bother to acknowledge me or even make eye contact all while she moved slower than a sloth and still had the audacity to try to multi task. Hopefully the store manager Doyle Biller sees these reviews and does something about it sometime soon or even better how about they just shut down and let another retailer use the space.

Like fellow Unilocaler Lynn P., this is my neighborhood Stater Brothers – but I say this with MUCH reluctance. As Lynn also stated, I will drive a few miles farther out to go to a nicer Stater Brothers store, like the one in Artesia or the one in Long Beach. It’s rather unfortunate that this store is located in a low-income, ghetto area. It also seems to attract some rather shady-looking characters, which probably explains why there’s a security guard standing outside the exit and scanning the parking lot. Weekends are the absolute worst time to come here, because it gets crowded and the parking lot is full of crummy drivers. I’ve found that coming here on weekday mornings(If you don’t have to be at work, that is) is the least crowded and best time. I will only come inside this store when something I need is on sale. They also carry some baked chicken legs in their prepared foods department that are rather tasty. Others have mentioned that there will be at the most three checkstands open and each one has a long line. Not only that, but the customer service is rather lacking as well. This store really could use a makeover, top to bottom, because it looks so dated and tired. If you can stomach coming here and it’s actually a pleasant experience, more power to you!

This is my neighborhood Stater Bros and I will go out of my way to go to another one. This store definitely does not get high marks for customer service. Everyone that works there seems to be looking around to see what else is going on besides the customer standing in front of them. This ain’t no club! Grrr… The meat department is not very knowledgeable and when you ask the guy for something and then specifically point out the one you want, it seems to be more a chore for them. Seafood dept is the same way. Lines are forever and inevitable here. Be wary of the guy in the parking lot wanting to clean your windshield. WTH!!!

I agree with all my fellow Unilocalers. This store sucks ass. Produce is overpriced, meat/poultry/seafood department smells and looks sketchy… Only come here ad my last option since it’s the closest market to my casa

Am I being punked? Seriously where’s the camera? Terrible, horrific guest service. You would get better service at the DMV! Lines are excruciatingly long and staffed wih rude workers who have no trouble mocking and talking back to their guests. Wow! I can’t believe how this place stays open. Its overdue for a renovation. You’ve been warned.

I only come here b/c it’s @walking distance from mi casa. Two words — LONGLINES! (93.7% of the time) &don’t even think for a minute that the person in front of you with a cart full of sh*t will let you get ahead of them b/c you’re only purchasing one item… These are the most inconsiderate people I’ve shopped around. The staff seems dead… When did they start hiring Zombies? 0_o &they need another Redbox… Even that has a long line… ok, somtimes. Boo that store!

Can someone please tell me why this store doesn’t upgrade. Whoever owns this store is pocketing the extra cash. The fixtures are so ancient this store has a 70’s theme. it feels like they are at the bottom of the grocery store chain.(Analogy-bottom of the food chain/grocery chain… get it? Never mind…) If they didn’t carry the one item I need, Hidden Valley Dip, Fiesta Ranch, I would never step foot in that place. This is the only store I’ve found that carries this prized jewel, mix that with Sour Cream, Diced green chilie, finely chopped Black olive, Cheddar Cheese and voila u have Fiesta Ranch Dip. Goes good with tortilla chips. Yes, the foodie has come out once again. MWHAHAHAHAHA!!! Crunch Crunch Ya’ll
