Called to ask about my car alarm. They said they can check it but my car won’t start since the kill switch is on and won’t go off. I called them to see if there is any way to remove the kill switch so I can drive it to the shop and he said yes but he charges $ 40. But I asked him if there was any way of me doing it myself and he no, that there was no way of doing it myself but I have to go in and pay them to do it. Just called to simply ask a question and was thinking of going in but not after that phone call. If that is how they are on the phones, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was any different in person. Very unprofessional.

This place has been a stereo shop for SO LONG, you have to check out the vintage sign on the back of the building… something like Jean’s Tape Center home of 8 tracks! LOL
The current owner has been there for at least 10 years. English isn’t his first language but he is friendly and VERY competent. I haven’t had him do a stereo install, but I own a Volvo shop in the neighborhood and frequent the smog place next door, so I always see these guys at work.
I’ve seen them working on nearly new cars, extreme custom cars both classic and modern, RVs, boats, once even a toy hauler!
He has a good selection of installation parts and obscure connectors, and has saved my bacon many times with install kits that nobody else in town has when I’m working on one of my customer’s stereos.
This is a small locally owned business where you are dealing directly with the owner and his employee, which might be exactly what you want if you’re wary of national chain stores. And don’t even get me started on the regional chain stereo shops that run weekly display ads with attractive prices, on what turns out to be very low end equipment that you have to pay dearly for THEIR installation to get the «special low» price.
