My work pays for my lunch and I can go anywhere i want in the area, out of any place I can chose from, I come here about two to three times a week. I really enjoy their breakfast and chocolate shakes! Excellent service too! :)

Food here is super gross. Ordered a pastrami and the bread was stale and onions I had ordered on the side had a funky smell

Best burger in town. You can feed two people a great burger, fries and a drink for $ 12. I also love that they box your food and drinks so nothing spills!

Take your business elsewhere, this place is awful. Everything is old and dirty, the owners are sticklers for parking. Stay too long and they’ll tow your car. There are so many better places to eat within a 3 block radius.

I passed this place up plenty of time, so I decided to finally look it up on Unilocal & see how it is. After reading many good reviews on this place I finally decided to give this place a try. I would say that the food is just «ok» nothing special or great. I think people love this place because it’s a sentimental thing &they just grew up eating at this place .but yeah the food was alright. At least I finally gave it a try but next time I will defiantly be going to omega burger down the street from it.

We have been going to this spot for over 20 years! The food’s taste and quality have been consistent. I often drive across town to get their burgers and fries. The owners/​employees are always courteous and pleasant I wish that I still lived down the street from them. But, that probably wouldn’t be healthy for me.

over priced & very bad at attitude the food is ok not all that, sm soda & a order of white toast $ 5 way too much money… sorry won’t go back & do not recommend this place at all, i notice this place its empty most of the time, i now know why

I went to G & S Burger other hot wing wit Fries, I told the lady Who took my order that I want my chicken cooked all the way done, well it was not cooked all the done Never going back to this place again. This place have change owner 6 time. Next time when I want some hot wing again I will take my money to fantastic Burger.

This is one of those hole in the wall joint that just totally blows you out of the water. Yum yum yum!!! Whatever their special sauce/​seasoning is, they are doing it right. I got a turkey burger and it was super flavorful. Boyfriend got some kind of cheeseburger special and also really enjoyed it. Their fries were A– but still alright. Would definitely go back here if I’m craving a burger and need it quick!

I have driven by this place on many occasions only to pass it up. My girlfriend and I decided to try this place by looking up «best burger» on Unilocal. After we saw all the positive reviews we decided to give it a try. Now don’t be fooled by the looks of this place. It is small and does not have any seating inside with only outside tables available. Plenty of parking though which makes getting to this place very easy. We ordered 2 basic cheeseburger combos with one having bacon on it. Now don’t be upset with the a little than longer wait time because it appeared that the food was made to order. Oh by the way the service was fantastic. When we got home we dug in and my oh my were we surprised. The food was great and very fresh. Bottom line is give this place a try, you will NOT be disappointed.

First frequented this place 30 some years ago… back then they answered the phone «hello buns» when you called.
My favorite back then was the quesadilla’s and that has not changed all these years later… still the bomb!
Even after new owners took over, they kept the same great tasting menu.

Love this spot! Best burger spot around! Totally worth it! Fries are crispy and juicy burgers. They have real milk shakes too!

Food was impressive. We got the shrimp basket (8 $), the 4piece fried chicken (very crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. 8 $), and the chilli cheese fires (5 $). The portions were right. The service was good. There was more than enough parking along with cool benches. It was also close to the freeway entrance. No complaints just a full stomach with a good experience.

Club sandwich is my go to, but pretty much everything here is awesome. Burgers, breakfast, Mexican, you name it. ALWAYS GET FRIES. Not that they’re anything out of the ordinary, but there’s just something about them that make them magical. It’s a walk up window and I always take it to go.

One of the best things about L. A cuisine that separates it from many cities are the many mom and pop greasy spoons. Discovering a truly amazing one is like finding a hidden gem among the pebbles of a lake bed.
G and A is one of those gems.
My fave was the pastrami cheeseburger combo. Reminds me of the famous Onassis you can get at the Mad Greek between L.A. and Vegas. Maybe not as much pastrami, but with the burger, a HUGE helping of decent fries and a drink only costing $ 6.50, it’s one of the best values I’ve seen in L.A.
The other highlight is their teriyaki bowl which seemed to have a whole cow or chicken worth of meat based on your preference. It was almost like the meat was the base and the rice the add-​on.
But I did say hidden gem. Judging by the low food traffic when I was there, it hasn’t gotten the coveted word of mouth as of yet. And the kindly couple that run the place and gave us GREAT service with a smile deserve it.
It’s nearly tucked away under a 91 overpass. If you get off the freeway too fast, you might miss it. But this is not a place worth missing.

This is such a cute little place run by an old couple. The seating is only outdoors and you order at a little window. Prices are good, and the food is delicious. But my favorite part is the service. The man at the register is so nice and helpful. I will definitely be coming back.
They have breakfast and lunch specials. They have plenty if parking. They have tables under a big tree and tables right next to the window, all covered, so even if it’s raining you can still enjoy your food.
