Loved the food! I’m not a big menudo person because it tends to be to greasy but after smelling my dads menudo i decided to try it and I’m glad I did! My new go to spot for some hot menudo on a cold day!

The food is ALWAYS so fresh and the service is very prompt and courteous. The restaurant is small and humble, but it won’t bother you. I agree with some that it is TRULY a hidden gem. Just good food, kind service, and very generous portions. Try the different soups and eat all the tortillas you can put down. Been coming here for over 5 years and we are never disappointed.

Found this little place by accident. Food is prepared fresh and it is excellent. The portion is very good with plenty of meat of your choosing.

Have been coming here since they opened, but moved to the central valley short after. Every time we’re back in bellflower we make it a mission to always eat here! The food it’s authentic Mexican food. The service is very good as well. This time around was no exception, people actually waited outside to be seated! [It’s not a huge place] but it is definitely worth the wait! I had chilaquiles which are served with rice, beans, eggs, and salad. Big portions. My husband had menudo, and was surprised when he said it was delicious, since he’s picky with his menudo. All in all, great good!!!

Simplemente la mejor comida mexicana que he probado en Los Ángeles, puro sabor, los desayunos son de otro mundo, los precios son razonables y la atención es amable y familiar, la fachada del local no dice mucho aunque muy limpio, lo que habla es la calidad de su comida, tienen unos burritos (Burrotes) enormes que son espectaculares, esto es comida para disfrutar y las porciones son generosas, el café es de lo mejor, tortillas hechas a mano en fin Don Chuy’s es lo mejor !!!

Oh boy!!! If you want great authentic Mexican food you got to try this place out. My favorite is the Torta de Milanesa with jalapeños toradios (jalapeño chile cut in ½ and placed on the grill with I hint of oil) yum. The owner is always there cooking and family there helping out, everyone is very nice. Oh, also try the Birria really tasty very little fat. Everything priced reasonably

I have eaten at many Mexican restaurants and have found food no better than you will find at Don Chuy’s in Bellflower. They are owned and operated by the family. The steak picado and carne asada plates are second to none. The tortillas are freshly made on the premises. You will not be disappointed.

Wish I would have tried this place sooner! When you’re Mexican it’s hard to find spots with authentic Mexican food. Their huarache is delicious, quite large so bring an empty stomach. Their is ample parking and their service. Can’t wait to try their torta de milanesa.

So I been going here since 2011. I love the taco special which is 2 tacos rice, beans and a drink. 5 bucks! I also love that the tortillas are hand made and they serve chips and salsa. There’s a lot of dishes that are tasty. There are only two bad reviews out of the bunch that alone should say something. Also it’s a family owned restaurant and it feels like you’re family too.

For the people who have given this place a bad review, I think they’re crazy. This restaurant is perfect from the décor when you first walk in to the prices and their DELICIOUS food! ! Can’t get enough of it. After eating here I never want to go to Alberts again. Don chuys has great quality meat you can taste it as soon as it hits your tongue it’s exceptional. Their carne asada/​carnitas is my favorite! The burrito special is the way to go and when you dine in the staff is so nice and sweet! It’s all around a great experience an I want this business to grow because it’s so delicious! Chips and salsa are to die for!

Second time that I have been with my girlfriend and I cannot complain. The burrito special is absolutely amazing and especially for the 5.44 that I paid for it. The staff is friendly and my girlfriend loves the carnitas. Will definitely be a place for us to kewp comimg back to.

Just had a green chile omelette not on menu … OMG made my day !!! Also had a chance to try the Costillas Rojas the other day … different red sauce than I expected looked super spicy but wasn’t. It’s great to awaken my tastes buds with new flavors.
ps –for those haters J.T. and Cole — rice is made all kinds of ways in Mexico and all over the world but one Star for just rice shame on you.

Never going here again. Thought we would try it since the reviews were all 5 stars. People said the meat was made when orderd. Too bad we didnt notice there were only a few people who wrote post. The plus was the meet was cookd fresh, but it had no flavor and was fatty. The salsa was bland and the spanish rice was worst then uncle bens outta the bag spanish rice. My son got the quesadilla and fries. The fries taste like they were cookd in old oil that had a million different flavors. We didnt even try the quesadilla and beans. This is the worst mexican place ever! Waste of $ 20 bucks!

Not good! Their rice is like Uncle bens mexican rice in a bag, carne asada is not marinated and very fatty! Bad experience… i tryed to like it, and wanted to like it but it just wasnt happening.
