Bellflower Fish & Deli

This place seems to have closed down. I’ve been there twice in a two week period, a Wednesday and a Friday, and both times the lights were off, door locked and security bars in place. This last time I also noticed a pile of mail inside the front door. I think it’s gone!

I got some fish tacos (you can choose between several kinds of fish) and a fried catfish plate. I also got red beans and rice and collard greens. Food was very good, and reasonably priced. The fried fish in the fish plate had some bones in it, but that wasn’t really a problem.
I haven’t tried everything on the menu yet, but I’m looking forward to coming here more often to try more items.
I will say though that the Plaza this restaurant is in is kind of busy though, and so the limited parking was filled up when I got here. I had to park in the residential area nearby (just a few feet down the local side-​street) and walk over. This was late in the afternoon however, when everyone was getting off of work and going to get dinner.

My family loves fish and I’m so glad that this fish market is in Bellflower! I tried this place for the first time and I fell in love. The food was beyond delicious. The fish was cooked to perfection. I will definitely be back!!!

The food and delicious! I had the red snapper and fries, and i have found me a new fish spot.

It is great! I love the catfish and red beans and rice. My daughter is in love with the fries. We go so often and it taste so fresh.
