First of all — upstanding employees who made my day with their honesty… I left my jacket and they had it the next day and took good care of it. This is a reliable place to get a good drink and put the rest of your day behind you. Not fancy, not sparkly, not upbeat… this is the kind of place to go when you don’t want to be bothered by bullshit… which I usually don’t. Good job, Goose. I’ll be back.

Dear Goose — I love you so much. Love, Sarah. Seriously though — when in Bellevue and the mood for a dive bar burger and atmosphere hit, I recommend you stop by the Goose. It’s in a small strip mall across from the Crab Pot and what you see is what you get. This is a dive bar. It’s not trying to be something other than that. You won’t pay more than $ 10 for a burger and a sh*t TON of fries /tots. The bacon burger(sub cheddar for swiss) is my favorite(if you’re looking for a suggestion). To be honest, most everything you get here is going to start out frozen so we’re not talking gourmet or anything extra fancy. The appetizer selection is your typical bar food; potato skins, nachos, mini tacos, mini burritos(my husband loves these), popcorn shrimp, etc. Come on a game day and you’re sure to catch a beer /drink special. If you are here on a game day, I would suggest you get here before the game starts — seating(with a good view of the TVs) can get a little tight by the end of the first quarter. The servers and bar tenders are nice and even when it gets busy they do their best to make sure everyone is taken care of.

I grew up on dive bars in eastern Washington – you are not a dive bar. You are just a BAD bar. The 4 star rating is baffling. The place was sparsely populated. Most folks were nursing their drinks, yet it took forever to be waited on as our waitress was having a very involved discussion with another waitress who was on her way out(based on the bag upon her shoulder). Yes, I get to say this because I have been a waitress. Stone cold jalapeño poppers-yum. Joined later by fried dogfood/oysters. Mmmm. We were the oldest folks in the joint = we have the potential to be the best tippers. Man, you think you might know this little gem by now. Not so much when you THROW the bill at us. SO sorry to have ruined your evening by coming in. Won’t happen again. Terrible food is to be expected at a dive bar; terrible service isn’t.

The Goose Pub is a great local pub in Bellevue. Great food, good choices of beer, lots of TVs, foos ball, darts, pool. If you feel like relaxing with your friends late at night, and don’t feel like Bellevue Square, this is the bar for you. I usually get their burger, wings and nachos. Service is good but only two people working the front, the owners. Great place to watch the game too.

This place is a surprise. I have seen its location before but never attempt to come in because I am afraid I would get jumped by some gangs. But dang, it was a very polite and peaceful place to my surprise. The food is great and it came with great quantity. So be careful if you order too much. For example, the nachos is like a full plate, maybe the size of the Mexican hat. J/k

Unsuspecting… but in a good way I suppose. When all other bars were too full in the area, The Goose was spacious and had a table waiting just for us. Cold beers, and even the food was good. Those fries with tarter sauce… YUM. A friend ordered the chicken strips and it was enough to seemingly feed 4 people. Staff was friendly, plenty of parking around the area. All in all a good place to kick back and have a couple.

This place is cheap, chill and exactly what I needed! Try the chicken fingers and a cold Manny’s and shoot some pool with friends without waiting forever to play.

Horrible, meets the standards of a dive bar, I had to attend to an emergency and told the bartender I’d return shortly. After calling to doublecheck if he had held my drink as promised, I received a ridiculous amount of attitude considering I simply asked if I could have my drink that I PAID for. After being told«whatever» by this guy, I refused to show up. Good waste of money. What disrespect. I miss the girls who used to bartend, atleast they had common decency.

This is the only existing dive bar in Bellevue. 3 stars because it’s not dark or cheap enough to be a good dive bar. Dim the damn lighting, seriously.

I’ve become a regular here in the past 9 months and I absolutely love this place. It’s one of the few locations in Bellevue with a kitchen that’s open past midnight so its a great spot for me and my co-workers after getting off to relax with a beer and some bar food. It’s a dive bar and as long you’re expecting that you’ll be happy. Has pool, darts, foosball, and video poker and of course pull tabs. Jaime has been nothing but absolutely stellar even when I occasionally get too rowdy.

The food is amazing and the hot waitress tops it all off. The music on Friday nights after midnight can’t be beat. No where else can you get this kind of selection of hits past and present. The tennis team loves the goose!

I don’t go for the service or cleanliness. It’s a dive bar folks… and they have about the best cheap pub food you could want. Chicken strips and onion rings or a burger with fries and a coke comes to $ 10.08, add $ 2 tip and you’re at 12 bucks for a huge lunch. You won’t leave hungry.

Let me just say right away that I loved this place. I went there on a Saturday evening which was surprisingly not very crowded. The guys working the bar were very nice(Celeste and Mike I think), being a vegetarian and new in town hasn’t been completely easy but these guys totally listened to me, and made me pretty darn good veggie stuff I think I am going to be a regular!

Pretty typical dive bar, though I was very surprised that they had rap going as their background music. For some reason there were only 2 people working on a Saturday so service was seriously lacking, but what service there was to be had was friendly. Playing pool was an… interesting…experience as all of the cue sticks lacked tips. Beer was nicely priced. If I could hope for a decent game(no tips, really?!) of pool I’d consider going back.

After seeing my doctor I need to rethink my dieting choices. With that in mind I decided to seek out the best burgers on the Eastside. Many are very good but the best was in my own backyard at The Goose Pub N Eatery. Went there today and ordered a bacon cheeseburger no tomato. Wasn’t specifically on the menu but what great Pub/Tavern doesn’t have one? Melty-cheesy-bacony-juicey perfection! Everything a good burger is supposed to be. Crispy fries and a Mack n Jack, I’m in heaven and hope my doctor doesn’t read Unilocal reviews! Dianna the, «Day Gal», was a most pleasant and thorough hostess. She even did up some hot wings for me to go with an added special request without question. Thanks Dianna! The visit was perfect and satisfying!

re: MNF This is a hole in the wall bar that I would have overlooked had I not been looking for it. Used the Unilocal app for Chicken Wings and this place came up. I was quite surprised how many people were here eating/drinking and preparing for the MNF(Monday Night Football) game. The place is very open, so I would be quite surprised if there were any hidden secrets. I classified this place as a hole in the wall, but it literally gave me the impression, someone did a shotgun setup for a restaurant and that’s what I thought it looked like. The seafood dish we had was okay, but the wings were good. They brought out the wings right as they were prepared, so great turnaround from kitchen stove to your table. There was only one waittress, so that was probably the only neg, since service was slow; however, she was pretty good considering she was the only one working. Didn’t sit at the bar, so I have no insight/opinion on the bartender. My wife and I had a good time and we’ll be back.

Place is decent, customer service is there if you are not foreign. This other foreign guy in front of me took him 30 Minutes to get a beer, took me exactly 27 minutes to get my beer, as if that was enough, we were both skipped several times before they took our order. They notice their friends before they notice any of their customers. This place is mostly for locals(the bars friends), but if you take the chance, mite be shunned a while.
