Überliss is LIFE CHANGING! Michelle is a hair magician. I was in Bellevue for business and wanted to find someone talented enough to tame my crazy curly, kinky, wavy, giant hair. So I turned to Unilocal to find a talented stylist. She is 5 stars for a reason. I have had the Brazilian Blow Out and an off brand smoothing service in the past that were subpar so I was a little reluctant when it came to trying a new one. Michelle knows her stuff and immediately I felt comfortable when she could explain the difference between other smoothing treatments and Überliss. It was a long process, I believe 5 hours total but Michelle stayed till almost 9pm to make sure I left happy. That is someone dedicated to their clients and I have never been so happy with my hair. This morning I washed it and blow dried it while finger combing. The pictures speak for themselves, it’s a miracle! Not only is my hair straight it’s frizz free and soft. I can hands down say this was money well spent and I will be back! Do not hesitate to schedule an appointment with Michelle you will be impressed.

I have been seeing Michelle for tape in extentions, and I would never go anywhere else! I’ve had extentions done by others prior, and they always looked super fake– not so with how meticulous Michelle is about color matching, placement, and blending. She takes her time, and really does an amazing job! She’s also very fun, and I always enjoy my time with her. I recommend her highly!

I researched getting a Keratin treatment versus a Brazillian blowout. Besides researching the difference between the two and deciding what was best for me, I also researched who to get a treatment from.
I found Swank from Unilocal and read the reviews and saw the pictures and decided this was the place to go and I was not disappointed. Michelle was very good to my hair (and ears. never had ear protectors for flat ironing my hair before, nice touch!). She explained the treatment very well and I knew exactly what to do with my after care.
My hair turned out great and I am not disappointed. Michelle cares about her work and assured me that if I had any troubles to let her know. I will be back for my next treatment in a couple of months for certain.

I just recently got hair extensions at Swank (went from just above the shoulder length to just above the waist length hair). I’ve never gotten them before but I am hooked! They are such an instant confidence booster. Michelle did an awesome job getting extension colors to match my hair color and she was very knowledgeable. I was a little worried about how it would blend in with my short hair but her blending skills to make it look all natural was fantastic. She really makes sure every section of hair falls perfectly. Hair extensions are of course pricey but that’s the case anywhere you go; her prices are definitely way more affordable than a lot of places out there and she uses high quality hair. I’ll be keeping these around for a while!

The best Keratin I’ve EVER had
I used a groupon a few weeks ago. I’ve found that keratin treatments almost always look nice right after you leave the salon. The real test is how does it look a few weeks later. Badly done keratin can look bad a few days later. I am sooooo happy with this one! Michelle uses Koppola, and seems very knowledgable and competent. She is very nice, and the studio is clean and snazzy. It was a great experience, and I’d highly recommend Michelle and Swank Studio. I will go back for sure.

I had a Keratin smoothing treatment. Michelle knew what she was doing, was skilled, and provided a great service. I had the treatment at a different saloon, paid $ 300, and my hair was burnt but Michelle fixed it! It’s been over a month since I had the treatment but my hair is so straight and shinny. I’m very happy with the result.

Michelle showed my hair that she’s the boss and straightened it out! So I came back for more a few months later and she did it again! If you need a really great Brazilian Blowout or a cute haircut, go to Swank Studio :)

I found Swank salon through a groupon deal for a Keratin smoothing treatment. It’s been a few weeks since my treatment and I’m very happy with the results! My frizzy hair has survived a trip to a very humid area with minimal maintenance. Michelle is skilled in doing the keratin treatment and was careful not to burn my hair, but also worked quickly without compromising the quality of her work. Michelle uses the Coppola brand, which in my experience is one of the better brands for keratin — other brands like Chi won’t last as well in coarser or curlier hair. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at her salon and the results of the treatment. I think it’s worth it to return at a non groupon price too.
The only thing to note for a first visit to her salon is to give yourself 5 or so extra minutes to find the place. A little hidden away but easy enough if you write down the directions she gives you.

I got a fabulous blow dry from Michelle at her Swank Studio. My hair is below the shoulder blades, and very chemically treated = colored + a needing to be touched up Brazilian Blowout. The blow dry I got from Michelle lasted for 5 days, until I finally sweated thru it at the gym. I liked the products she used — I went back for a product to help with my dry ends — plus the chair in her studio is very comfortable, and makes all the difference when you have a bad back. She herself is awesome, and a lot of fun to be around. She focuses entirely on you during the appointment, no cell phone interruptions, etc. I will definitely return.
