Guys it’s a 12 dollar haircut, you get what you pay for. I’m a middle aged mom with a kid, who no longer needs the high fashion edgy cuts I used to get. We are totally happy with this place, and it usually never has a wait. The ladies are always nice to both myself and my son, and I couldn’t ask for anything more when it comes to a mainstream haircutting place.

I went to this Supercut because of its association to the chain thinking I would get an ok and decent price hair cut. However, this is the worst hair cut I got in years! Yo Min Kang cut my hair too short and uneven. When I came home, I had to recut a piece of hair she missed. I would never go here again.

Guys, this is not high end hair salon and this is not a whole-in-the-wall type barber shop. I am using their service for a year and I can’t complain. Decent price to get a nice haircut.

The first and last time i went here was to cut my hair for it to be donated. It was a spur of the moment thing, and i didn’t measure my hair beforehand. When i first sat down, i asked the stylist if my hair was long enough and she told me that it was. Only after she cut it all off, leaving me with a lion’s mane, did she measure it and find out that it was about an inch too short. Fortunately, hair grows back.

Haven’t been to this salon in a very long time. Last time i went, i swore i would never go again. Two times with a bad experience is good enough for me to know when the hell to get out. The last time i went there, the lady talked to me about my acne and scarring the ENTIRE service. Keep in mind, I didn’t ask for her advice. I got to the point where i wasn’t even responding anymore. At one point, she said«There’s got to be something you can do for that, it’s just not good looking». Rude. Acne is a touchy subject for me, it’s not something i can take off my face and decide to wear every day. But i was surprised when my answers were short with her that she didn’t stop talking. I told myself next time i might mention my discomfort, but after the hair cut was over, I decided I’d never go back. she gave me side bangs, and instead of letting my hair fall naturally with its part, she pulled it all the way from one side to the other. And now that I’m a licensed cosmetologist, I just look back on that and think how DUMB.

I got a new Haircut Sunday May 1st. I adore my haircut but what I went through that day really blew. My husband and I Stopped in at Super cuts in Bellevue Factoria area and we were both gonna get a hair cut. The woman who cut my husbands hair was a short older lady with very obviously died faded red hair. She was pretty short with my husband when he said what he wanted which was a simple men’s fade but he still let her cut it. I however took my time looking through the books because I knew I wanted it cut but really wanted to be sure on what I wanted. I found a simple short hair cut and decided that is what I was going to do . When she said it was my turn I showed her the image and she said no. I was like what… she was like your hair is too thick I can’t cut it like that. I was really shocked because I have had my hair cut in a similar style many times and my hair was way thicker before. She then said she would have the other stylist working cut my hair. So I sat in the chair and waited for the other stylist. She looked at what I wanted and said no as well. She said my hair was too thick and you needed special tools to razor and thin my hair to cut it the style I wanted it. She said they did not have those tools there and my hair was so pretty long I should just leave it alone and not cut it. I almost wanted to cry… I have never been turned away from a hair salon before. I then left after my husband paid for his hair cut and was gonna forget even trying to get my hair cut. My husband said no hunny we will try another salon inside the mall. We then went to Master Cuts inside factoria mall and before I would even look at a book I asked the girl if she had the tools to cut my hair. She looked at me funny and was like yeah we are a hair salon. So I then told her what they had said across the street and how they turned me away. They were all astonished and when I showed them the hair style I wanted they were more than happy to do it. I adore how my hair turned out and needless to say they got a large tip. I just still feel anger when I pass by the Super cuts though… I can’t believe they treat people that way and are still in business.

If you want a good haircut for a good price, come here! Its not too full of people and the atmosphere is kicked-back, which I like.

I have been to MANY salons over the years. High– end and not so high– end. I have spent as much as $ 200 a cut and as low as $ 20. Since going to the Factoria Supercuts and finding Truk(sp?) I have gone nowhere else. The price can’t be beat and she does exactly what I want. I am always pleased with the results.

It took a long time for me to feel comfortable telling this story. The trauma was such that I experience dissociative states whenever I pass this fine establishment. I have this terrible habit of self-grooming. This includes things like hair coloring and pedicures. The pedicures usually come out all right and if they don’t, I can just start over. The hair coloring sometimes ends in disaster(rarely) or mini-crisis(occasionally). Whenever I fry the ends of my hair, I’ll just pop into some generic salon and get the ends trimmed. No big deal. I’m not a salon snob. Some of the best cuts I’ve ever had have cost less than $ 20. Some of the worst have cost more than $ 200. So, after a rather brutal shift from dark champagne blonde to virtually platinum, I found myself in need of a quick trim. The Hair Masters across the way had a wait, so I popped in here. The«stylist» nodded and smiled at me a lot. I explained that I just needed a quick pruning and she went to work. I took off my glasses and relinquished control to a person I knew nothing about. I emerged with a mullet. Yes, a mullet. It took months to be able to trust another person with a pair of scissors.

If you are looking for a cheap, basic haircut then this place might do. I wouldn’t say it’s the best Supercuts I’ve been to but the person who cut my hair did what I asked. I think she could have done a better job but it’s ok. An interesting thing I did witness was someone demanding their money back. Aparently when he was getting his haircut the person cutting the hair made a bald spot and diid not say anything. Pretty interesting. If you need a haircut and are not picky then fine but I think you might want to try other supercuts first to see if they are better.

Supercuts. What can you say, really? It’s not a high-end salon, but they’re not the corner neighborhood barber shop. They’re a great place to get a nice solid ‘cut. I’ve been going to this particular place for several years and like it. It’s not very fancy, but what Supercuts is? It always looks clean, the waits are usually short, and the staff is friendly. If you don’t need anything fancy, I highly recommend this place. Now, with the review out of the way, I’d like to share a short story. I remember this one time I came in several years ago. I was just out of college and a few months into my job, and I thought it was time to get a more professional ‘do. You see, I’m a guy and I had grown my hair out for the past two years. I think I looked pretty hot, but my lady friends just weren’t feeling it. They’d been pushing me to chop it off for many months. Since I’d just become a corporate peon, I thought, «Heck, might as well!» So off I went, charging to my trusty Supercuts! I’ll spare you the gory details of each snip and cut. To make a long story short, I lopped off nearly 12 inches! When done, I looked in the mirror and though, «Who is this handsome devil?!?» Next, I looked on the ground and commented, «Dang, that was a lot of hair!» Of course, I save the best part for last: the reaction from the stylists(all women). They had all seen me come in. Now that the deed was done, they stopped to look and gazed in wonder(seriously). From the crowd I heard, «Oh my god!», «That’s amazing!», «Ooh!» and«How handsome!» At that time I vowed I would never go to any another barber shop as long as I lived. The end.
