I took in a brand new pair of slacks to get them hemmed. The lady asked me if they had been washed yet, and I informed her that they had not. She said it would be fine, and that she would just leave them a little longer so that they could shrink. When I got them back, they were actually the perfect length, so I figured I’d wear them and wash them so that she could adjust to the actual length.
I took them back in after washing them, and let her know that she forgot to leave them long, but after altering them she actually charged me full price again. If she had just told me in the first place that she couldn’t alter them until they were washed, I would have gladly washed them so she would only have to alter them once. Instead, I feel like I was ripped off by her.
On the plus side, the quality does seem to be pretty good so far, but definitely not worth 2x the price.

this place is the best. shortened my burberry trench coat to be more in style, and did an excellent job at a fair price. highly
