Smart Towing

Quick service and great price. As quoted to me over the phone. Service was top notch and driver was courteous. I’ll be using this company again should I need a tow service and I recommend you do the same!

After the incident that led to my initial review of Smart Towing, I received a call from Ron, the owner of Smart Towing, who was not happy about what I had to say.
Ron informed me that the driver who was responsible for the problems with my tow was no longer with the company, and offered to reimburse me for the cost of the damages that were caused. I provided him with copies of the receipts and the mechanic’s statement regarding which damage was caused by the initial accident (most of it) and which damage was caused by the unfortunate tow (left rear lateral link).
I had previously filed a claim with the company that subcontracts out for Subaru Roadside Assistance (Agero), who denied the claim and refused to accept responsibility for the expense. Ron, however, was true to his word, and a few days after I faxed over the documentation, he sent me a check reimbursing me for the portion of the damage caused by the tow.
I appreciate that he followed up and also that he took responsibility for his (former) driver. It is unfortunate that before writing the review, I was dealing with Agero, rather than directly with the tow company, because Ron handled the situation much better than Agero did. Everyone makes mistakes, but a true reflection of a business is how they handle them and make them right.
